The Fund seeks long-term capital appreciation by investing primarily in equities, common stocks and convertible securities issued by companies incorporated in or deriving their profits principally from the Pacific Basin, concentrating on Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand or in investment companies investing primarily in such countries.
Alethea Leung
Alethea Leung, Vice-President,is a member of the Fundamental Equity division of BlackRock's Portfolio Management Group. She is a research analyst for BlackRock's Asian Equity team and is responsible for covering ASEAN equities. Prior to joining the Asian Equity team in 2009, Ms. Leung worked as a research analyst with BlackRock's Global Emerging Market team in London, where she covered Emerging Asian equities. She began her career at BlackRock in 2007 as a member of the Global Fixed Income team. Ms. Leung earned a MChem degree in chemistry from the University of Oxford in 2007.
Oisin Crawley
Oisin Crawley is a portfolio manager and Director of BlackRock, Inc. since 2014; Partner at TT International from 2009 to 2013,joined TT International in 2005. Prior to joining TT International, he worked as Equity Research Analyst at Morgan Stanley & Co. from 2001 to 2005.
