The Fund has three aims: • To provide an annual yield above that available from the FTSE All-Share Index • To provide an income stream that increases every year • To provide a level of capital growth, net of the Ongoing Charge Figure, that is higher than inflation over any ten-year period, as measured by the UK Retail Prices Index (RPI). Michael Stiasny
Michael Stiasny joined M&G in 1998 as an equity analyst, becoming head of the equity research team in 2004. Since 2011, he has managed a range of equity and equity income funds. Michael graduated with a First-Class Honours in PPE from Oxford University in 1997 and became a CFA charterholder in 2001.
Elina Symon
Elina Symon was appointed deputy fund manager of the M&G Recovery Fund in July 2019, after becoming deputy fund manager of the M&G UK Income Distribution Fund in March 2019. She is also the deputy fund manager for Charifund, M&G’s flagship charity fund. Elina joined M&G in 2011 as a graduate and subsequently worked as an equity analyst covering the telecommunications and utilities sectors. Since October 2014, she has been a dedicated analyst with the Recovery team. Prior to joining M&G, Elina worked at Bank of New York Mellon in its Treasury department. She graduated with a degree in international business, finance and economics from Manchester Business School in 2010. Elina is a CFA charterholder.
