Charibond provides a managed investment for the fixed interest portion of charities’ investment portfolios. The fund provides charities with an actively managed portfolio of gilt-edged and other fixed interest stocks and deposits designed to produce a high income while preserving capital value.
Jamie Hamilton
Jamie joined M&G in December 2013 and was appointed manager of the Vanguard Precious Metals and Mining Fund. In December 2015 he also became lead manager of the M&G Global Themes Fund. Jamie commenced his investment career in 1999, having managed resources, generalist and alternative mandates while in North America. In addition, Jamie has managed various institutional mandates for clients based in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and North America. He holds a MSc Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science, as well as an Honours B Comm from McMaster University and a diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Mohawk College in Canada.
Richard Ryan
Richard Ryan joined M&G in 2001 as a fund manager in the fixed income team, managing a range of institutional corporate bond funds. He has responsibility for a number of M&G's sterling credit portfolios as well as its globally focused total return credit portfolios. Prior to joining M&G, Richard worked for Nomura Asset Management as an institutional fund manager with specific responsibility for global government and corporate bond portfolios. Before this, he worked for Dresdner Kleinwort Benson in the Credit Products Group trading sterling-denominated corporate bonds. Richard graduated from Southampton University with a degree in economics.
