Fund Objective
The Unicorn UK Ethical Income Fund aims to provide an income by investing in UK companies which meet the ACD’s ethical guidelines. For this purpose, UK companies are defined as those which are incorporated or domiciled in the UK, or have a significant part of their operations in the UK. Selection of such ethical equities will be undertaken on the basis of thorough company analysis, with ethical and socially responsible criteria reviewed at the point of investment and quarterly thereafter.
Fund Managers
Fraser Mackersie
Fraser is co-manager of Unicorn UK Income Fund, Acorn Income Fund and lead manager of Unicorn UK Growth Fund. Fraser joined Unicorn in 2008 having previously held positions with F&C Asset Management and Geoghegan & Co Chartered Accountants. He graduated from the University of St Andrews in 2003 with a degree in Economics and Management and is also a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
Simon Moon
Simon Joined Unicorn in 2008 from JM Finn stockbrokers where he worked as a research analyst. Before moving to the City, Simon spent three years on the NHS graduate finance scheme. He is Co-Manager of the Unicorn UK Smaller Companies Fund and was appointed Co-Manager of the Unicorn UK Income and Acorn Income Fund in December 2013.
