Scott Weiner

Scott Weiner, PhD, is a managing principal at Payden & Rygel and a member of the Executive Committee and the Investment Policy Committee. As a frequent speaker at industry forums, he specialises in topics relating to asset allocation, risk management and international investing. Prior to joining Payden & Rygel, Weiner was a senior strategy member of the investment arm of First Interstate. Previously, he was with Goldman Sachs in New York as one of the strategists in the 1980s developing expertise in the mortgage market.

Donald Morgan III

Donald Morgan is the firm’s founder, portfolio manager and Managing Partner. Additionally, Donald is a member of both the Investment Committee and Risk Committee. Prior to forming Brigade, Donald was a Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of Fixed Income at MacKay Shields. During his leadership, he grew the firm’s high-yield assets to US$17 billion. Donald began his career in money management at Fidelity Management & Research Company. He received a BS in Finance, magna cum laude, from New York University. Donald is a CFA Charterholder.
