Fund Objective
To exceed the return of the 1 Month GBP LIBOR plus 2% per annum, evaluated over rolling three year periods (before charges). The Performance Target is the level of performance that the management team hopes to achieve for the fund. There is however no certainty or promise that they will achieve the Performance Target. The Manager believes this is an appropriate target for the fund since it reflects the risk and return profile that private clients expect and aligns with the investment policy of the fund.

Ben Ward moved to Standard Life Wealth following the acquisition of the Newton private client business in 2013. He manages portfolios for private clients, trusts and pensions and is the lead manager on the Bridge and Phoenix Funds. Ben has over eight years of investment experience building upon his five years as an accountant. Ben graduated from the University of Leicester, holds the Investment Management Certificate, is a Chartered Management Accountant, is an Associate of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments and is a CFA Charter holder.
