Fund Objective

The Fund aims to generate returns capital growth and income. To achieve the investment objective the Fund will invest in other collective investment schemes (“second schemes”) including exchange traded funds (ETFs), index tracking funds and funds which do not aim to track an index. Such second schemes will normally be managed by the Investment Manager or its affiliates. The Fund may also invest in non-UBS affiliated funds. The Fund will invest in second schemes to allocate generally to assets with the potential for capital growth, although such assets may also generate income (e.g. equities). To a lesser extent the Fund may also invest in second schemes to allocate to fixed income securities (e.g. bonds), cash, money market instruments and alternative assets such as real estate, commodities, listed infrastructure and hedge funds. The second schemes invested in to allocate to alternative assets will be UCITS-compliant, such as second schemes which aim to track a diversified real estate or commodity index. The Fund may also hold cash directly. The Fund will invest globally and is therefore not subject to any geographic restrictions. For the purposes of efficient portfolio management (including hedging) and risk reduction, the Fund may also use derivatives including (without limitation) futures, options and forward foreign exchange contracts.
