The Fund aims to achieve long-term capital growth by the active management of a global multi-asset portfolio. The Fund is suitable for investors with a more adventurous risk appetite who are looking to maximise the potential for growth but with the likelihood of experiencing more price volatility than a more defensively positioned portfolio.
Ian Goodchild
Ian’s aspirations to work in finance started at a young age. While his younger brother was pushing toy cars around, he had parked his car outside ‘the bank’ and was ‘working’. Having always been interested in wealth and financial provision, he studied Financial Services at university. In his seventeen years’ experience, Ian worked in accountancy and as a financial adviser before becoming an investment manager with Atkinson Bolton Consulting in May 2006, and setting up the Discretionary Portfolio Management Service in January 2007. He sits on the Asset Allocation Committee and has research responsibilities within the Investment Research Team, which he leads with Ben Wattam. Ian co-manages the range of Mattioli Woods Multi-Asset Funds with Ben Wattam and Mark Moore. Ian also sits on the Asset Management Executive Committee and the Operations Executive Committee focusing on strategy, oversight and operations for both the Asset Management Division and for the whole Group
Mark Moore
Mark began his financial services career in 2002, working for a large UK wealth manager. He joined Mattioli Woods in 2013 as part of the investment operations team before moving into investment management and research. Co-managing Mattioli Woods’ multi-asset funds, Mark holds primary research responsibilities for a range of fixed income and equity sectors. He also works closely with the company’s consultants to ensure appropriate investment outcomes for clients, and is an associate member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
Please remember that past performance is not a guide of future returns. The value of investments and the income from them can go down as well as up as a result of currency exchange and market fluctuations and investors may not get back the amount originally invested.
