The investment objective of the Fund is to provide income. The Fund also seeks to achieve capital appreciation. The Fund seeks to achieve this objective through investing at least two thirds of its assets in UK equities including ordinary shares and preference shares, without restrictions either by company, size or industry. The Fund may also invest in non-UK equities, fixed interest securities, convertible bonds, units of collective investment schemes, money market instruments, warrants, cash, near cash and deposits.
Adrian Gosden
After graduating from Oxford, Adrian started his investment career with Andersen Consulting as a strategic consultant specialising in the telecoms sector. In 1996, he joined Fleming Investment Management as an analyst and assistant fund manager for UK equities until 1998, when he moved to Socit Gnrale Asset Management. There he co-managed the UK Income Fund and several higher income institutional and charity mandates. Adrian joined the Artemis UK equity team in October 2003. Now he manages the Artemis Income Fund and High Income Fund with Adrian Frost.
Chris Morrison
Chris Morrison has 12 years’ investment experience and 7 years at GAM. Prior to joining GAM in Jan 2011, Chris spent five years as an investment manager with the Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ Asset Management UK Ltd on the long only European desk. Chris holds a BSc in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Bristol and is a CFA charterholder.
