The Fund aims to achieve an income yield that is above 4% per annum over atypical market cycle (5-7 years). Any income you may receive will varydepending on the share class of the Fund into which you are invested and isnot guaranteed. The Fund is actively managed without reference to a benchmark and investsover 50% in funds (including funds managed by Fidelity) which provide globalexposure to a mixture of asset classes such as transferable securities, moneymarket instruments, cash and deposits. This allocation to funds will normally behigher but may vary depending on market conditions and marketopportunities. The Fund can also invest directly into transferable securities,money market instruments, cash and deposits, and is also able to usederivatives for efficient portfolio management and investment purposes.Asset allocation exposure of the Fund will be actively managed subject to itremaining within the following parameters: 20-100% income assets (such asbonds and cash) and 0-65% growth assets (such as equities, infrastructuresecurities and property securities). The Fund’s asset allocation can be adjustedwithin the ranges in order to preserve capital or to take advantage of marketopportunities.Performance BenchmarkThe Fund’s performance can be assessed by comparing its actual yieldagainst its target of 4%.
