The Sub-Fund aims to achieve an annualised total return (net of fees) of 3.5% above the UK Consumer Prices Index over the medium term (i.e. 5 years) through exposure to a diversified range of asset classes. Out of this return, the Sub-Fund aims to provide a minimum income yield of 3% per annum. Notwithstanding that the Sub-Fund aims to achieve a positive return over the medium term, capital is in fact at risk and there is no guarantee that such return (income or capital) will be achieved over that time period or within another time period.
