Emma Clarke
Emma joined Beaufort Investment in 2016 as Senior Investment Analyst and was promoted to Head of Fund Research in January 2019. She is responsible for researching funds for inclusion in the model portfolio ranges, portfolio construction and managing the investment team.Previously, Emma held senior roles Mazars and Wellian where she was responsible for the fund selection and asset allocation of model portfolios. Prior to this, Emma held various investment related roles at Ashcourt Rowan (now Tilney), Heartwood Wealth Management and Jupiter Asset Management. Emma has been the recipient of multiple industry awards including; We Are The City Rising Stars Awards – Investment Management 2017, Investment Week Women in Investment Awards – Fund Analyst of the Year 2017, PAM Top 40 Under 40 2018 and PAM Top 40 Under 40 2019. Emma was also a finalist for Investment Week Women in Investment Awards – Fund Selector 2018 and Women in Finance – Wealth Manager 2018.Emma is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, is a member of the CFA UK Society and holds the Investment Management Certificate.
Shane Balkham
Shane joined The Beaufort Group at its inception in 2012 and is Chief Investment Officer for Beaufort Investment and is responsible for communicating our investment strategy to all stakeholders, as well as overall responsibility for the investment team.Having joined Friends Provident in 1990, Shane held various roles within the industry before focusing purely on investments. More recently he has spearheaded the investment team, resulting in Beaufort Investment being recognised as finalists in Money Marketing’s Discretionary Fund Manager of the Year 2019.Shane is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, is a member of the CFA UK Society and holds the Investment Management Certificate.
