The fund aims to provide capital growth and income in excess of the Bank of America Merrill Lynch 15+ Year Non-Gilt (Gross Total Return) index (after fees have been deducted) over a 3 to 5 year period by investing in long dated bonds issued by companies worldwide. The fund is actively managed and invests at least 70% of its assets in long dated bonds denominated in sterling (or in other currencies and hedged back into sterling) and issued by companies worldwide. The fund invests at least 80% of its assets in investment grade securities (as measured by Standard & Poor’s or any other equivalent credit rating agencies). The fund may also invest directly or indirectly in other securities (including in other asset classes), countries, regions, industries or currencies, collective investment schemes (including Schroder funds), warrants and money market instruments, and hold cash. The fund may use derivatives with the aim of achieving investment gains, reducing risk or managing the fund more efficiently. The fund may use leverage and take short positions.
Alix Stewart
Alix Stewart joined Schroders in 2012 as a Credit Portfolio Manager. Prior to joining Schroders Alix worked for UBS Global Asset Management as Head of UK Fixed Interest and before that as fund manager of Global Corporate Bonds. She graduated from University of Leeds with a BSc (Hons) in Economic and Mathematics. Alix has 20 years’ investment experience.
