The investment objective of the Company is to provide total a mix of capital appreciation and income return appreciation over the long term (5 years plus). The Company will aim to achieve its objective through investment in a multi asset portfolio, in some or all world markets, typically with a bias towards equities. Investment may be made across asset classes, including transferable securities, government bonds, fixed income securities, structured products, cash and near cash and money market instruments. Exposure to these asset classes may be direct or indirect through collective investment schemes. The Company may also gain exposure to asset types such as private equity, property and commodities indirectly through exchange-traded funds, closed-ended funds and collective investment schemes. The proportion of the property of the Company which may be held in the different permitted asset classes, including cash and near cash, may vary from time to time at the Investment Manager’s discretion subject to the limitations on investment set out in the FCA Regulations.
