The aim of the fund is to achieve long term total returns in excess of the Benchmark Index which is the Merrill Lynch Sterling Non-Gilts Index, with an emphasis on income generation.
Darren Ruane
Darren has an excellent track record of managing institutional fixed interest and money market securities, managed assets including government, corporate and inflation linked bonds in addition to cash instruments.He became an institutional charity and pension fund manager in 1996 with £1 billion of assets under management. He spent eight years as a fund manager, attaining his professional fund management qualification (ASIP) in 2000. Following a brief sabbatical, Darren worked for GMAC, the US financial services company, trading portfolios of mortgage loans in the residential mortgage backed securities market, before joining Rensburg Sheppards in July 2008.
