Gerry Ferguson
Gerry is Head of UK Property Pooled Funds, with specific responsibility for the Aberdeen Property Trust. He is a member of both the real estate executive and investment committee, and is also involved in setting and implementing fund strategy. Gerry joined Aberdeen via the acquisition of SWIP in April 2014. Prior to joining SWIP in September 2000 (part of Aberdeen Asset Management since 01 April 2014), Gerry spent four years as a director with RREEF (UK) Limited, the largest independent property fund manager in the UK. Previously, Gerry worked as a fund manager for Scottish Amicable for ten years, responsible for its Life Property Fund. Before this, he spent three years with Scottish Widows focussing on the UK market. Between 1974 and 1983, Gerry worked for various organisations dealing with the Scottish property market. Gerry is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Investment Property Forum. He holds a BSc in Applied Science from the University of Glasgow.
