Fund Objective
The objective of the fund is to achieve capital growth through investing, directly or indirectly, primarily in UK equities or in equities of companies which derive a substantial part of their revenues from activities in the UK.
Fund Managers
John White
John joined GLG in March 2004 and is lead Portfolio Manager of the Alpha Select strategies. Prior to this, John worked for Morgan Stanley from 1999 where he ran the UK trading desk and then the European proprietary trading desk. Before this, he worked for SBC O’Connor from 1991 where he traded UK equities, futures and options. He continued in this role through the mergers of Warburg and UBS before moving to Bankers Trust as Head of European Trading.Â
