Should I be looking to bottom fish soon has this share got any potential.

cynic - 05 Nov 2007 17:45 - 1020 of 1049

you'ld better off going to fishmonger!

driver - 05 Nov 2007 18:03 - 1021 of 1049

Cod and Chips then.

cynic - 05 Nov 2007 18:09 - 1022 of 1049

cod is a mid-level swimmer, but there are some particularly fine plaice around at the moment .... for a piece of trivial but useful info .... the fresher the plaice, the more orange the spots on the dark skin ..... ultimately they will fade to grey, but stll be sold as fresh!

Plaice and Chips then.

teddybear5 - 06 Nov 2007 13:48 - 1024 of 1049

dont think we will make a profit from these but it is worth the challenge they seem to keep all information from there shareholders if i sell now will make a very big loss would sooner lose all.

cynic - 06 Nov 2007 14:15 - 1025 of 1049

in that case, you are almost certainly backing a winner!

skyhigh - 06 Nov 2007 15:08 - 1026 of 1049

Ive sold many a share at a loss some times the money is better somewhere else making more, never say never.

explosive - 06 Nov 2007 20:31 - 1028 of 1049

Staying in on this one, call it whatever you will but I think the share is still value for money! Cynic please do your worst as I do value your thoughts and when done if you'd be so kind as to pop over to the SER thread and repeat the exercise i'd be very grateful.... exy..

cynic - 06 Nov 2007 20:41 - 1029 of 1049

hi exy .... too damn tired tonight but think i may have already cast pearls before swine on SER at an earlier date! .... will look again on the morrow

capetown - 01 Dec 2007 09:03 - 1030 of 1049

I am tempted to have a flutter on these @ this price, any thoughts ?,

Could have reached the bottom @16p and noticed it only took a couple of small buys to see a small increase even though the spread is quite wide.

cynic - 01 Dec 2007 15:27 - 1031 of 1049

AVOID remains my advice, until or IF the company ever does something useful

capetown - 01 Dec 2007 16:37 - 1032 of 1049

CYNIC,
Thanks for your advice,WILL TAKE it for once!

capetown - 01 Dec 2007 18:27 - 1033 of 1049

cynic - 01 Dec 2007 19:46 - 1034 of 1049

capetown - 02 Dec 2007 10:05 - 1035 of 1049

As to being tempted to have a flutter it doesnt seem that there is much oil coming up did I read some where that they are to do steaming looks like the numbers have to be worked on this, BPD after steaming M/Cap joint venture, SER would make a good comparison to BLR after the numbers are done.

cynic - 02 Dec 2007 18:36 - 1037 of 1049

would rather SER any day of the week

Black Rock Oil says Arce Field steam test suspended on operational difficulties
AFX

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Black Rock Oil & Gas PLC said it has suspended the steam test on the Arce Field in Colombia due to continuing operational difficulties, while keeping Arce 4 on cold production operations.

However, the company said it expects the Acacia Este-2 appraisal well to be spudded in December and that it will enter an extended production test early in 2008.

The oil and gas exploration company said the Acacia Este-1 discovery well has been re-worked with a gravel pack and has begun an extended production test, with positive production results at a current average of 70 barrels of oil per day under low pump rates.
