BTW, We should be releasing a new version of BaP later this week. We have been fiddling with how we interface with Betfair and have come up with some neat tricks to improve performance.

I should have looked at this thread before I ordered scrips book on Amazon. they have just advised there will be a delay.

I am having trouble with Betfair page coming up in Russian or some cyrilic type language Phoned betfair and they advised that this was a common problem with IE and I should use Firefox because it is much better!!!! Hows that for passing the buck

Typical response from their helpdesk, tho im surprised they didnt ask you to delete your cookies first

Most people whove had probs with IE on betfair are usually on version 6, have you upgraded to version 7? If not id try that

Also worth trying going to the homepage, changing the location then changing it back to English

Betfair being down this afternoon cost me 98.80, instead of a 101 greened up profit on the Arsenal v Man-U game (layed the draw after 1st Arsenal goal) @ 3.44
after goal 2 the odds were approx 7.5 (whilst their site was down!) by the time betfair was up and running Man-U were level, odds back down to 2.3. With only approx 15 mins remaining was time to 'red up'! and recoupe my losses on the Horses
which I did, 13 in running lays from 14:30 till 15:55 all profitable. A frustrating day but all ended well in the end up 10% on the day...

Three times this week. They messed up the suspension of a race earlier today as well. Not a good show really is it? I'm in to see them next week so will give them some grief.
