Apologies Elbow, You'd think i'd know my own health boards. Checked and Northern's Ian Paisley's neck of the woods That could account for it. Not anywhere else in NI that I Know of and no talk on local media. If this share doesn't start to motor I'll have to move north and avail myself of the programme!!

Sure maggiebt4:
News flow all important.
Just returned from shed building DIY !
Expected to see some profit taking this afternoon but run up to the end of the month in terms of budget off load and meeting NICE Guidance / government requirement to delivery will be very lively.

This is a bit of joined up thinking, the CEO newsletter is again overdue [14 weeks monday] i know what NB said last time ,for those that have'nt read it i quote."
CEO Newsletter December 2007
I know some of you were expecting this newsletter to come out sometime in November but I just make the point to those who start at every shadow that this is not a formal communication with a firm deadline, but a way of expanding on current or recently announced initiatives and sharing with interested parties further and, hopefully, helpful background. The publication timescale is fairly fluid in that it will be quarterly,___{ but often driven by unfolding events.} In this instance I held back while concluding negotiations with YourCity.MD - It would have been perverse to issue the newsletter a week ago to meet an artificial deadline, only to then announce a new initiative a few days later, about which readers would be keen to have more detailed briefing! Now would it be sensible for him to hold off posting the new Newsletter if he was concluding a deal , this is purely speculation on my part but i believe he would. point 2 with the rise in the sp over the last weeks ,as we know GM has always said that he was trying to get away from the spike and retrace that has happened in the past , so with that in mind and remember that the sp rise was mainly due to RNS releases by the Mgm , can they {NB/GM } allow a retrace!! especially when they have control now over releasing news to drive the sp up . I for one do not believe they can allow the sp to fall ,i expect contract news and good interims .Also remember their jobs are up for grabs in less than a year !! please do your own research!

Dear xxxxxxx,
I am writing in response to your e-mail below which we have previously acknowledged.
The answers to your questions are as follows:
Has Westminster PCT implemented the programme to the areas it serves?
Westminster PCT currently holds one licence for Beating the Blues, which was originally purchased in 2005 and has been renewed on an annual basis. This licence was a pilot development and is implemented in two of our primary care practices.
National targets at this time specify licences should cover 25% of the population, how many licences does the Trust hold?
The PCT is currently planning to increase the number of licences for Beating the Blues from April 2008 as part of wider service developments for people with common mental health problems. This will involve increased access to a range of low-intensity interventions, including Beating the Blues, other Computerised CBT (CCBT) and guided self-help using appropriate books. The PCT expects to meet the target coverage of 25% of the population by April 2008.
Yours sincerely

looks good
Your email has been passed to me for a response as I have led on implementation of Beating the Blues in North Somerset.
We have recently implemented Beating the Blues self help e based Cognitive Behaviour Therapy programme in 5 access points across North Somerset in accordance with NICE guidelines We have implemented Beating the Blues at the same time as Books on Prescription for Mental Health and a pilot scheme to introduce an Advice and Guidance worker into a GP practice in Weston-super-Mare to access education, training, employment and social inclusion services.
The access points are The Campus Library, Worle, The For All Healthy Living Centre Library, Weston-super-Mare, FRIEND Resource Centre, Weston-super-Mare, Weston College Library and Clevedon Library.
The 5 licences expire December 2008 and at that point we will have to evaluate the programme locally and decide whether to continue the service as part of the proposed new Primary Care Mental Health Service which will be in place by the end of this year in North Somerset.
To date 17 people have registered to use Beating the Blues in North Somerset but it is to early to reach any conclusions as to effectiveness etc.
I hope the above meets your requirements but please contact me if I can be of any further assistance.
Hilary

elbow- good! after having been in and out a few times quite profitably, my last purchase of these were at 1.54 which until now was not so smart-kept shares as when you deal with NICE/NHS and PCT's you know it will be protracted but always had faith in ULT

It all depends on News flow and as the quarterly News letter is well over due there must be something coming soon. The previous News letter was delayed due to deals been done which may be the case here. Seems to have stalled at 1.53p however. Sorry 1.51p profit taking possible now.

This has long dragged my rather small portfolio through the mud along with PXC & GTL. At this rate I will only have to worry about the other two lol (which I will ditch when I get time). As long as EO. , GOO hold up and this keeps moving up I'll still be smiling!
