Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

Fred is that why the Labour Party ended up with JC, as bar John McDonnell the rest are a little less unbalanced.

Strange how a Cornish Pixie picked up the mistake.
I would also have spelt "epitome" as the word sounds to me.

It only sounds like that to you Fred because you have been reading too many of those silly cartoons. The other one has no excuse for his ignorance apart from himself. Maybe he should "bare" that in mind... sheesh.

Stan, re damaging decisions, I voted for the party that would provide the best solution for the country after Labour screwed it up (again) last time.
If you want to see damage you only have to look at Brexit, after the biggest vote in our history, with a clear majority, it should have been reasonably straight forward to implement the will of the people.
However, many of the so called elitists in our society do not want to abide by the result of the referendum, they want to overturn the democratic vote. Instead of getting behind the vote uniting as a country we have this powerful section of society against Brexit. These are the people responsible for inflicting damage on the UK
Re your evaluation of me, I know you hold me in high regard Stan, if it were otherwise quite frankly I couldn't give a fishes tit.

I've voted for at least five different parties if you include independent as a party.
Never voted Lib though , always seemed a bit wishy washy to me and never knew whether they were coming or going.
A sheep with a red rosette would win most elections around here.

Georgie,
If you are so certain and confident about the will of the people why are your running scared of another informed referendum?
By the way, 2008-2010 was due to the Banks and City's mismanagement.
There had been attempts to tighten the regulations, but doing so would not have past through parliament.
Also, look around the world at that time and question if Labour was responsible for the collapse of the economies of other countries.

Red Fred
We know how good Carney is at forecasting.
Running scared ha! ha! Where did that come from? The problem I would have with a 2nd referendum is the wording of it and the fact that it would almost certainly contain 3 elements.
If the wording were the same as in the 1st referendum, the LEAVE vote would be much higher imo

there is at least a reasonable likelihood that corbyn will have his own neck in that noose

Corbyn’s doing an excellent job of getting us out of Europe long may he continue to be labours leader. He will deserve a knighthood for services to Brexit when we leave.
