World cup 2010, What chances for the Home sides and Ireland !. (2010)

required field - 12 Oct 2008 18:43

Thought I'd start a football blog, we might keep this going until 2010.....England doing well....did not see the match or even the goals....I'd like Michael owen back in the squad though....and I think Peter Crouch would make a very good substitute...remember against Argentina in Geneva a few years ago....with Michael Owen and some very good movements on and off the ball...they caused havoc.....did see Scotland's missed chance....that could be very costly losing those 2 points !.

I see Spurs are relying on a West Ham lad to get them out of trouble!

He's actually a gooner - ironic really, with some of the weekend quotes

Harry Redknapp is West Ham through-and-through having been born just down the road in Poplar and also playing for and managing themH signed professional terms as a 17-year-old in 1964 and went on to make 149 top flight appearances. He then went on to take over as manager from Billy Bonds in 1994.please!

Direct quote tabby - (you've ignored his 1st 17 yrs of life)

"Today, however, Redknapp is looking forward to a good old fashioned FA Cup tie and a chat with Preston legend Tom Finney. What a player he was says Redknapp. I was a big Arsenal fan as a kid and I remember seeing him play against Tommy Docherty one night. He ate the Doc alive but the Doc still loved him. Reckoned he was the best player that had ever been and he wouldnt be far wrong."

Well...Liverpool on top....might be their year....still think that they have a tendancy to drop more points against lesser teams than Chelsea !.

I dont think Tony Adams better have oneas an ex. Alcoholic that has done time for drink related problemsa lemonade and lime max..I wish him wella good lad. If he signs Joey Bartonand brings Gazza and Merson on the coaching staffthe alarm bells might start ringing.

Dil - 28 Oct 2008 15:17 - 134 of 1154

Or appoint Kerry Katona as the kit lady.
