Tokyo I know.
Have a few tucked away at a nice price.
Just a bit shell-shocked today. Fingers a bit sore cos I'm still in PRE, bailed out of PCI (just got back in in a small way), CUX tanked also but I'm still showing 2.5 bagger status on that one.
All in all, not a good end to the week.
Oh and TLT is sitting on the point of balance, not knowing which way to go.
Don't even get me started on PET!!
And took my Mum into hosp last night with a suspected mild stroke........

Beasties sorry to hear that pal, hope next week is a much better one for you!!
Glad to hear you are also holding NBR, as my 50+ pence prediction before Xmas is getting awfully close, I was just pipped last month in the FTSE competition by Kayak, so I'm wanting this prediction to be correct.
As for PET I know your feeling, but I'm in this one for Block 6 as well as the tenders, and as PSA's will not be awarded until next year, PET is a long term hold for me, the intraday drops as frustrating as they are really don't mean much in the long term, just take a look at RTD, people bought in over there at 7 pence(I didn't get in until 9), I am a little biased when it comes to RTD as it was the 1st real share that I made some serious money on, I have no doubt that in a couple of years we shall see RTD at around 50pence prehaps even more, just another good advertisement for holding on to your winners.

Beasties, I'm new to the stock market (and not going as I hoped) but as for the mild stroke, make sure you get her to do plenty of dexterity and co-ordination excerises with her hands, feets and even fingers.

Positive news!so if they are putting in the final commercial offer Dec 15th it seems likely we will get into Jan before we get an announcent on a contract award?

Do we know if they are the only ones who are putting in a final submission by Dec 14th? Are thery allowed to tell us? The fact that they have released some news must mean that something has changed as they wre sworn to secrecy.I wonder what else thay can say which could lighten our darkness even more.

It could be that they have had a positive responce to their tender submission. i certainly would not have thought that this is just to bump up the sp.
Beasties

This will mean the sp will inevitably drift down again until the actual announcement that we're waiting for. All that seems to say is "You'll all have to wait a bit longer guys"!!

No i wasnt suggesting it was. The fact that they have broken the silence might mean they are able to enter into a bit of a dialogue and provide some further details like is it just them who is putting in a final commercial offering by the 14th Dec. If it was then it is a much stronger statement ( should i say dynamite)

although it is good that PET have broken their vow of silence, it is only small investors that are buying, the big boys have`nt jumped onboard yet. beasties i think you are right in saying it will drift down again, mainly from people profit taking after they got a bit nervy will the fall lately,
