Thats just how I read it. With TB moving from a hold to a buy, the only possible reason I can see is a hint of say, 'We have to put our meeting back as we can't give you much update without prejudice to the AGM info, but it will be worth waiting for'. If TB had any doubt's at this stage, I feel he would have left it as a hold, especially as this is the second time he has put it into the RHPS portfolio. Read between the lines. This is only my conjecture, will welcome any other possible scenarios.

I think holding RHPS back to Monday, they can tell them after the close anything that they will be releasing as AGM news at 7am on Tuesday, so RHPS readers will get to see it Monday night ??

The buying is good today anyway, a nice tick up to 13.75p mid just now, more to come later I hope, lets get out of the rut !

Bank Holiday Monday!

At least we are not seeing the mad frenzy that a lot of folks had worked themselves into last year. Many people expected a 'big announcement' at the AGM, based on scurrilous, ramping gossip that pushed the sp to ridiculous unsupportable levels.

This year it hasn't happened. Although some attempted to start the walmart rumours again on, as yet unsubstantiated, information from supposedly 'in the know' sources.

We will see what Tuesday brings.

Tom Bulford's meeting will now happen just before the AGM next Tuesday.
However his RHPS update will not arrive until Thursday evening after the market has closed.

Shareholders attending the AGM will therefore more likely update us with any news prior to Tom.

Greekman Hi. Well worth the read. It makes you realise how bad the plastic pollution problem really is.

Good points about the bank holiday and RHPS updates coming on a thursday, but maybe RHPS will suprise everyone, with a very thorough and bullish bank holiday update :)

As for the Walmart/Tyson rumours, wasn't it EVO that released the info to more than one shareholder ?, I don't call that 'unsubstantiated', I call it 'if you don't believe the post, call EVO and check yourself', just as ssanebs did !

Yes from the article I did not realize that some plastics last over 60 years in sea water. To find plastic pieces from WW2 surprised me. I appreciate that plastic is almost everlasting on land, but would have expected salt water to break it down long before a period of 60 years.

Walmart will be looking at both 2000 and 3000, as you don't need a clear tray for a lot of products, only a clear lid.

Perseco will be looking at foamed 2000, as you don't need a clear container for a Big Mac, but you would also prefer insulation.

Greekman. What breaks plastics down the most is ultraviolet radiation ie being out in the sun. That and ESC (environmantal stress cracking) which can be caused by the most unlikely chemicals. EG a flexible storage bin which turns brittle after a label is stuck on it. A Plastic Kettle which was allergic to a common flyspray. Im not a chemist but I dont think seawater would harm most plastics. Being kept out of sunlight at the bottom of the sea would help preserve it.
(In my last job I was involved in designing roof aerials for cars and was frightened to death by the ESC course I went on at RAPRA ).

I was under the impression that if there were anything significant to announce at an AGM, there had to be an RNS release of the AGM statement, simultaneously to the AGM.
I may be wrong, but if I am right then no RNS = No significant news to emerge and we will be relying on probing questioning from our Paxman type posters and nudge nudge chats after the event.

I doubt there will be any major news today. BUT, in the event there is, the release will be timed to coincide with the commencement of the AGM...thats purely my guess.
