Hi all, the following is what I sent about 15 minutes ago. Got to out now for a while. Will let you know what response I get.

For the attention of Martin Wagner and Howard White

Dear Sirs

"Stanelco is pleased to announce that the exclusive agreement between ASDA and Stanelco for Stanelcos GreenSeal technology has been extended for a further 12 months. The exclusivity of the agreement will be waived after the first machine has been installed in an ASDA pack house, which will allow Stanelco to then offer GreenSeal to non exclusive ASDA sites."

The following above statement has confused and annoyed many investors

1. In a previous e-mail to your offices, I highlighted the fact that the announcement on your new web site about the exclusivity agreement with ASDA last year was not dated, thus giving the impression that this agreement was signed this year.

That oversight was subsequently corrected with an apology, but the exact same mistake has been made with the above announcement? Why no date again?

2. Many investors feel that such a seemingly important announcement should not have been withdrawn after only 24 hours. Who made the decision to post it, was that decision agreed with other directors and, if so, who made the decision to withdraw so soon and what drove that decision? This gives the impression of a degree of chaos, lack of quality control and effective communication both within the company and without. It is terrible and disastrous PR.

3. Without knowing the intricacies of regulations controlling the release of RNSs, your investors feel that this type of information, which influences their investment decisions should have an RNS as were so many other announcements during the past 18 months, some of which were a far too optimistic in their content.

4. Attendees at the AGM, were told that a Greenseal machine had been running for 16 hours a day without problems and the company expected to have a fully commercialised installation within eight weeks. That expired on the 27th June. Why has there been no factual update on this issue?

5. Also please explain why, after extending ASDAs exclusivity for a further eight weeks at the end of the original period, and given the confident AGM announcement, should it be necessary for an additional 12 month exclusivity extension? If it is because it might take as long as 12 months to get one successful installation (why else give ASDA this extra period) then the company was AGAIN a little nae (or negligently optimistic) in saying that SEOs products were on the cusp of commercialisation? Such incidents seriously damage investors trust in the companys management.

The fact that the exclusivity is to be waived as soon as a successful commercial installation has been achieved does little to dispel our fears about what is really happening behind the scenes. The directors should place themselves in the shoes of the companys private investors who are not privy to the day to day dealings within the company.

6. At the end of last year you announced a three month Starpol trial with ASDA. If a time period is given for the length of a trial, then most people would assume that a follow up announcement soon after the end of the trial period should also be made. Without a prompt statement on the success or otherwise of the trial investors are wondering whether ASDA have decided to walk away from Stanelcos products.

Can the company please confirm that there is absolutely no problem whatsoever with its commercial relationship with ASDA and by extension its parent WalMart, insofar as they have been exposed to the companys products?

7. There is a widespread feeling that whilst the company may be very good at developing potentially world beating products, it is seriously underperforming in getting them to market. A very simple example of this was the reluctance of the company to get a decent web site developed. This shows a worrying lack of knowledge about this medias effectiveness in providing information direct to customers who wish not to contact it via phone or normal mail.

I believe that an investor was told that the company has more important things to think about than the development of the web site. This is the electronic and digital age where people demand instant information and if they cannot get it, they simply go to a competitor and seek alternative solutions.

It seems that the company was partly provoked into improving the design and content of the web site (which we all applaud) by the number of referrals to the company from Paul Mastersons research site. I wonder what sort of image and message that must have conveyed to potential customers that they could only get information from an enthusiastic investor and not the company itself. Confucius say creature with head in sand gets arse kicked.

We collectively feel that there are several skills sets which are absent which should be acquired through recruitment. Without them, notwithstanding the brilliant products, we fear the sad demise of Stanelco PLC.

We are aware that answering this e-mail will take some management time, but hopefully these questions will graphically illustrate the real concerns of many investors about the quality of management and the manner, content and accuracy of the information in the companys communications over the past 18-24 months.

We look forward to receiving the companys detailed response to each of the above questions as soon as possible. It would be greatly appreciated if your answers could be written immediately beneath each question and without adopting the mushroom approach of darkness and manure.

Alternatively, several investors have suggested that one or two directors meet with three investors to discuss their concerns in detail. We are quite happy to come to Southampton for this meeting and welcome the opportunity of being shown around the premises to obtain a broader view of its operations.

My sincere thanks in anticipation of your prompt response

Yours sincerely

Investor

I like the Asda reply!!
Until it is in stores. Not If.
Something is baing awaited. Contact sign off? Not sure.
Proper whistles and bells launch?? maybe.
The contract is already in place. Remeber the envisioned 200 machines?
Could we be about to rock 'n' roll.
Been too disappointed in the past by this to be overly excited, but that looks more promising than it did 15 minutes ago.

Why would a 70yr old pensioner be interested in greenseal you should have told them you represent hundreds of investors holding millions of shares that usually gets a response.

Apologies if you are over 70 we are all going to get there in the end I hope.

cynic - 03 Aug 2006 14:05 - 18424 of 27111

Alan ..... sorry to add my usual dampener, but the whole sentence read ...... "Unfortunately no information has been released on this at the moment, until nearer the time it will be in stores" ..... First this is bad English throughout and secondly it only came from Customer Relations rather than a director ...... It would be a brave (and rash) man to hang his wallet on this pronouncement.

rajstar - 03 Aug 2006 14:12 - 18425 of 27111

driver - no i am not 70.

cynic - i am not worried about the English. the director would not even have revealed this info. sometimes it is best to approach someone who has their ears to the ground.

Tonyrelaxes - 03 Aug 2006 14:16 - 18426 of 27111

Oily.
Many many thanks for your efforts and to the other contributors. I am glad someone has been roused into action to get this rolling! Any responses at all from them would be welcome as it all adds to our "picture" of whats going on. Management is sadly lacking in some areas, namely presentation, information and (possibly) overall direction wheras they have in the past been overfull with optimism which has just not materialised - YET.

Raj.
Thanks to you too. Although the supreme optimist myself, I too read ASDAs comments to be that GS is still happening, or going to. It would have been easy to just say what they did up to the comma leaving off " until nearer the time it will be in stores.". That they did not is the first really positive indication that things are still going to happen, albeit far later than SEO Management's expectations of last year. And an outside indicator too.

Tony

rajstar - 03 Aug 2006 14:21 - 18427 of 27111

Tony - i would expect some sort of announcement from SEO soon. Not sure if we will get this from WM instead of ASDA.

Mad Pad - 03 Aug 2006 14:30 - 18428 of 27111

Tony hi .Havn't greensealed items allready been in ASDA on a trial basis.I seem to remember postings on one of the boards to this effect and how to recognise them.If so why didn't ASDA just mention that in thier reply?

rajstar - 03 Aug 2006 14:31 - 18429 of 27111

Shorters are closing.

automatic - 03 Aug 2006 14:44 - 18430 of 27111

MMs holding SP back as usual, and i don't care what you say about sets

Tonyrelaxes - 03 Aug 2006 14:48 - 18431 of 27111

Mad Pad, HI back!
Yes, I have reported on BBs of various products that I have seen in ASDA which appear to have been Greensealed.
This was a narrow, deep weld line wheras heatseals are smooth and broad across the full tray lip. Also, because it was a weld, and not a peelable heatseal, the film cover had to be cut - this was printed across the film or included in the preparation/cooking instructions on the outer slide cover. Adsa is not on my usual routes so I have no recent knowledge. I might go look soon.

I think ASDAs reply is probably with their "launch" announcement in mind and answered Raj's enquiry without too much information. Mentioning trials etc could lessen the impact of a future announcement. This also might raise questions about why the long delays which are probably nearly as embarrassing for ASDA as they must be for SEO

Mad Pad - 03 Aug 2006 15:02 - 18432 of 27111

Thanks Tony I havn't met Raj in person ,is there any possibility that this is just a ramp and ASDA havn't replied at all?No disrespect Raj but I'm more than paranoid now, maybe you could give us all a few more details ,names email addresses and phone nos. Thanks in anticipation.

nyleve - 03 Aug 2006 15:04 - 18433 of 27111

Just like to add my thanks to all who are doing their best to extract some sort of information as to what is going on at Stanalco. Like many, had faith in the products and did'nt get out on the SP fall, not clever like some lol.
Things certainly looking brighter today, so good luck to all who, like me, live in hope - bit worrying as I am over 70 too !!!!!!
Dave

rajstar - 03 Aug 2006 16:14 - 18434 of 27111

madpad - its not a ramp. The email is from customer service ctc from the web. It took them 3days to reply and the name of the Customer service agent who replied is on that email. I sincerely think that there is more upside to this then the downside. The placing will come and i reckon will be at 8p. The RNS will come 1st which will take the SP above 8p and the placing after that news. Unless i am wrong that the placing will come 1st at 4p and the Rns later to take this past 8p. The 2nd scenario does not sound right, so i willgo with the 1st one.

nyleve - Uncle Dave, you better hang on, good things will come your way soon. We will all be there where you are one day. As long as we live healthy, fit and have the courage to take shots with the odd punt from the market.

cynic - 03 Aug 2006 16:17 - 18435 of 27111

cynically says, "I suppose you have a firm date for all this stuff too" ...... sorry; rather unnecessary

garypat2 - 03 Aug 2006 16:32 - 18436 of 27111

Have been buying seo all week but the trades are not showing up on the screen. If the same can be said for sells would that explain why the sp falls when buys outnumber sells? Has anyone else had the same experience?

Gary.

Bugz - 03 Aug 2006 16:34 - 18437 of 27111

The volume you bought might be included in AT trades. Depends who/how you buy. I've bought some back today and all showed up as norm though MoneyAM trades menu.

robinhood - 03 Aug 2006 16:42 - 18438 of 27111

can not help but think there is something going on and something positive for that matter

oblomov - 03 Aug 2006 16:51 - 18439 of 27111

Anyone know anything about Cosmic Ordering? I heard Noel Edmonds on the radio today talking about it - he's got a book out. Having looked it up and read about a bit on the web, it seems to all come down to writing down what you want on a piece of paper, including when you'd like it, and thinking positively about it. According to Noel, and others, you get it!

Worth a try - I'm now looking at a piece of paper with 'Stanelco SP 40p' written on it!
