At the moment the police need to keep him arrested, and they can only do this by charging him, or they just have to let him go. Doing this could even be a 'foil' to try and trap someone else into making a false move.

If the Police have sufficient evidence that looks as if Bridger is connected to the abduction (I presume he is either a 'No Comment merchant' or he is making no attempt to assist the Police), I would love there to be sufficient powers to administer a truth drug.

I hope the police are holding the "right" man and if he is they have sufficient evidence to prosecute and come to the correct result.

On what has been broadcast there are questions about the initial description of a "grey" van and seemingly blue "Land Rover".

There maybe a problem there in that I believe from comments that he was known to April and family, but in a small community that "could" be expect.
