THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

TANKER - 07 May 2013 13:33 - 24742 of 81564

my family come from wales and can trace it back hundreds of years .

TANKER - 07 May 2013 13:38 - 24743 of 81564

gold . indian and other restaurants are full of illegal immigrants who sleep on the
floors at night thusands of them you only see them after midnight on the streets
taxes are driven by immigrants that do not no were they are going go up one way streets and do not have a licence they are not checked

cynic - 07 May 2013 13:45 - 24744 of 81564

the celts were illegal immigrants too, emanating from central europe! ..... bit like the serbians, romanians, gypsies and certain segments of the jewish population

TANKER - 07 May 2013 14:01 - 24745 of 81564

cynic have you ever been to romania i have .and poland and a good ploish person would never leave is country

goldfinger - 07 May 2013 14:11 - 24746 of 81564

Well TANKER...this may be do able...........

electionista‏@electionista16h

UK - according to an Electoral Calculus study, @UKIP will need to poll above 23% to win any Westminster seats (MPs)

http://www.electoralcalculus.co.uk/Analysis_UKIP.html …

What you got to say to this then Hays given UKIP were getting 25% plus on thursday?????????????????????

goldfinger - 07 May 2013 14:14 - 24747 of 81564

But then again addding in the MET areas Labour still on track for an overall majority...

electionista‏@electionista5 May

UK - average of polls, 7-day change: CON 30%(=), LAB 38.7%(-0.1), LDEM 10.5%(+0.5), UKIP 13.2%(+0.3)

TANKER - 07 May 2013 14:33 - 24748 of 81564

gold UKIP are growing by the hour ever one i talk to is voting UKIP
ukip will get over 35% of the vote the conservatives and the liars they call libs will be the losers the LIBS are dead .cameron and osborne have killed the party

goldfinger - 07 May 2013 14:56 - 24749 of 81564

TANKER one for you I have pulled off twitter, its just been posted.

Cyners you may wish to have a gander........

http://www.cityam.com/blog/what-have-immigrants-ever-done-us

Fred1new - 07 May 2013 14:58 - 24750 of 81564

Please don't think Tanker is representative of the rest of the Welsh. The rest of us are far more superior race than those around us and Wales is our promised land.

The Millenium Stadium a place of pilgrimage.

======

Cynic,

Please don't associate my ancestors as your Kith and Kin, we are a completely different superior species.
-------------------------------

Hays,

What do you mean by a socialist state, why are you so alarmed by a more united Europe with greater equality and "RIGHTS".

-----------

Whatever political ideology government "rules" the major problems lie more with the quality of "administration" and "management" and how effective they are in ruling for the benefit of society and the whole of its dependant parts.

The polarisation groups within a society is often a stall to overall beneficial development. Look at the USA with Democrats, Republicans and Tea party.

---------------------

If the UK gets out of the EU it will be at a cost to the majority of UK citizens and advantage to a small number of the "elite".

goldfinger - 07 May 2013 15:00 - 24751 of 81564

Had a quick look myself.

It appears they dont mention economicaly that the immigrants wouldnt move here if their wasnt something in it for themselves plus it excludes the social problems etc etc.

cynic - 07 May 2013 15:20 - 24752 of 81564

sticky - you have e- :-)

fred - i was merely making the observation as from where celts emanated! ..... not my fault if my crew migrated in the diaspora to be your family's neighbours (and perhaps relatives)!

goldfinger - 07 May 2013 15:38 - 24753 of 81564

Cyners its still knackered my e-mail.

Virgin are having big problems changing me over from NTLWORLD to VIRGINMEDIA.

Been like this now for about a month.........mind they are paying me compo each day so I dont mind.......he he.

If its about immigration Id say Im middle of the road.

Can see positives and negatives.

I dont like that all my village shops are now take aways and I dont like now that all the pubs are now flats.

Plus I mentioned I dont vote in local elections as within my boundary the local MP gets voted in by his fellow muslims not his politics.(have nothing against muslims).

Far more important things in life and politics.

cynic - 07 May 2013 15:54 - 24754 of 81564

i merely said that you should not encourage Village Idiot ...... he takes up too much space at the best of times and is even worse than Fred in that respect! ...... if he wasn't such a total buffoon, there's no question that he would have been given his marching orders months ago

what is "middle of the road on immigration"? ...... does that mean you stand there and divert them elsewhere?

much more seriously, i heard that ukip want a moratorium on ALL immigration for 3 years .... is that REALLY so?

Haystack - 07 May 2013 16:04 - 24755 of 81564

They did say that briefly, but I suspect that they realised that was plain silly. Their web site now says that their immigration policy is under review. That is what you get for making up policy as you go.

Fred1new - 07 May 2013 16:17 - 24756 of 81564

.

Fred1new - 07 May 2013 16:17 - 24757 of 81564

I must apologise to Manuel for taking up too much of his space.

How much rubbish and duplicate posting has this "mut" posted over the last week.

I could say a waste of space, but not sure what I would be referring to.
------

UKIP has the same attraction to some voters as the local chemist shop selling sweets.

The only thing is that like children can't tell the difference between sweets and poisons on the shelves.

Their policies have a corrupting, polluting stench about them and attractive to gadflies.

Mind, Manuel came to mind when I typed that.

Fred1new - 07 May 2013 16:20 - 24758 of 81564

Hays.

Policies as you go.

It that synonymous with Cameron policies.

Forgot those are "possible" U-turns.

cynic - 07 May 2013 16:44 - 24759 of 81564

go wash your mouth out with soap and water fred!

TANKER - 07 May 2013 17:10 - 24760 of 81564

gold yes they would say no morethan thatthey love cheap labour but the tax payer as
to pay the bill for nhs schools and other services .
the gov make their wages up and not just for immigrants
working credits is a total disgrace why should the tax payer make their wages up .

if these jobs do not pay a living wage then fcuk them off and the migrants
companys love cheap labour and counting the profits of the tax payers paying for them to get rich

TANKER - 07 May 2013 17:15 - 24761 of 81564
