Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

Streaming charts still don't reset themselves to "today" (ie: 8am) when they are loaded prior to that time. They show yesterday's as expected. You have to manually refresh to make them work.

BT,

We are aware of this and are working to resolve the issue - please accept my apologies for this.

dscott,

I will get JT to take a look, in the meantime, could you close down your browser and try again please?

Ian

TullettJ (MoneyAM) - 23 Sep 2004 08:20 - 2515 of 7315

dscott62,

Can you please press ctrl-f5 (or hold the ctrl key while clicking 'refresh') while on the stockwatch screen and see if that improves the situation?

J.

Just tried to pull up all threads on TRAD symbol and only got one from August - is this a feature?

IanT(MoneyAM) - 23 Sep 2004 10:04 - 2517 of 7315

skinny,

Are you talking about the search facility on the BB - if so, there are some known issues with this that are on the list to be improved.

Ian

skinny - 23 Sep 2004 10:07 - 2518 of 7315

Ian - yes - I take it this is one the issues!

IanT(MoneyAM) - 23 Sep 2004 10:08 - 2519 of 7315

skinny,

JT is going to take a look into the whole of the BB's, and this will be a part of that process.

Some of the streaming charts and L2s on my terminals do not seem to be keeping up with events. Not sure whether it's at my end or not. Not particularly worried, but thought it worth a mention. The L2s outside the terminals are OK (though very slow this morning).

IanT(MoneyAM) - 23 Sep 2004 11:06 - 2521 of 7315

Maggot,

can you try reatsrting your PC to see whether this makes any difference/

Ian

There is a problem with the graphs when I load a candle graph for BLND it has a range of 0 to 70000 for share price and all the data is scrunched up. This is the same for a few of my graphs. Any ideas please.

Paul

IanT(MoneyAM) - 23 Sep 2004 13:45 - 2523 of 7315

Paul,

I will pass this onto our technical team to take a look.

Ian

IanT(MoneyAM) - 23 Sep 2004 13:49 - 2524 of 7315

Paul,

What is the duration you are using for the graph and I will see if I can try to replicate the problem.

Ian

EDIT - Have managed to reproduce this now, I will pass it onto the tech guys.

shani1812 - 23 Sep 2004 16:15 - 2525 of 7315

Ian

Anything over a month produces a problem with BLND, but try 1 year.

Edit - many thanks

Paul

Maggot - 23 Sep 2004 17:23 - 2526 of 7315

Ian. Re-started machine and terminal charts and L2 were quicker. Thanks.

However, some stockwatch prices are still way out. For instance XTA shows as 882.50 close - should be 871.50 mid. The Heatmap is roughly correct. If you get the closing prices from the LSE I should ask for a refund!

Dil - 24 Sep 2004 00:04 - 2527 of 7315

Mike , MM ,

Can you positivley identify posters with different id's using the same machine ?

Cheers

Dil - 24 Sep 2004 01:36 - 2528 of 7315

And Kayak just reminded me , hows the search faility looking ?
