If I'd brought the shares last week at 0.14 (as mm did) and sold at todays values.
50-60K in my pocket is'nt exactly chicken feed off one stock in one week.
again it's only my humble opinion. There is'nt great movement in volume of shares being brought. Sooooooo the only people who've made money over the last couple of days have been the mm's.
Especially as the spread is almost the sale as the sp rise.
All i'm saying is that the sp will rise prior to results and then more than likely fall -if no news is forthcoming.

I have worked out the SEO SP rise riddle. It is actually a well informed move by some very smart cookies. Let me explain.
For years, SEO has been trying to flog an alternative to plastic bags to the retailers.
Today, M&S announced they will offer their customers an alternative. Either a plastic bag costing 5p or nothing. SEO are of course extremely good at selling nothing to retailers so its a certainty they will get the M&S order for nothing as the alternative.
Big contract, M&S.

M&S announce they will no longer provide plastic bags free of charge what a cynical move by Mr Rose who will now charge you 5p per bag if you forgot to bring your shopping bag to his shop. Just think how much M&S will save by not providing free bags in which you place all your foodstuffs wrapped in .... guess what...PLASTIC!! Who is being conned here ? The media as usual.

They won't get the M&S order, and the reason is quite simple...when the reps arrive at M&S head office they will be invited into a large room and then buyers will look at the samples, for quality, durability and cost. They will all be similar, with some variations; - then they'll look at the SEO-product and wonder why the handle is attached to the bottom - like their shares!
Ho-Ho
Is this the worst listed-company on the UK Market?
...I just wonder....
There has to be one.

Stanelco Welcomes Media Debate on Plastics and the Environment
Stanelco plc, the only bioplastics manufacturer headquartered in the UK,
welcomes the current debate on the effect of plastic products and particularly
bags on the environment.
Stanelco is one of Europe's leading players in the bioplastics market and has a
heritage of over 15 years of research and development in this area.
Headquartered in Southampton where it has its research base, Stanelco makes and
develops the basic bio polymers that can be used to make products including
bags, packaging and garden products out of materials that are sustainable and
that quickly return to the natural ecosystem at the end of their useful life.
Stanelco's bio materials are all biodegradable, made from predominantly
sustainable base materials like potato starch, and will therefore degrade more
rapidly than oil-based polymers in the natural environment. Stanelco's materials
start to break down in a matter of weeks, significantly reducing the threat of
animals and marine life being trapped, injured or killed. The materials fully
break down in months allowing the breakdown products to put nutrients back into
the ground to provide for the next cycle of crops. Furthermore, the inks used
for printing on the bags purchased by our customers can at their instruction be
water based, reducing the impact of solvent based inks on the environment.
Stanelco's commercial and development activities take place in the UK, with
manufacture provided by Biotec, its German subsidiary jointly owned with SPhere
S.A. Stanelco recently invested in further capacity at the German production
factory, enabling it to have the capacity of producing annually the bioplastics
that could replace some 2.9 billion conventional plastic bags. That equates to
approximately one per week for every man, woman and child in the UK.
Paul Mines, Chief Executive of Stanelco said:
'We welcome the press interest in this subject; Stanelco is well placed to
supply the materials required to make plastic products that use sustainable
resources and minimise man's impact on the environment. Adoption of our green
technology is growing rapidly and customer interest is high; and we are working
with our partners and customers to deliver this as rapidly as possible'.

'we are working with our partners and customers to deliver this as rapidly as possible'.
Sound familiar??!
I think they should merge with Plantic Technologies, then we would have a really strong company.

This section says it all.
Stanelco is one of Europe's leading players in the bioplastics market and has a
heritage of over 15 years of research and development in this area.
The error in the sentence is..... Stanelco is one of Europ's leading players....It should read WAS.
Also it shows that with 15 years of research they have very little to show for it. Many newer competitors are far in advance as regards to contracts/sales.
The word heritage is not one I would have chosen.
Heritage....
1 property that descends to an heir (do we have to wait that long)
2 something transmitted by or acquired from a predecessor (I thought it was their idea) No wonder the patent prob was evident
I only hope Stanelco don't end up a 'Heritage Site' worth little, in a bad state of repair that looses money hand over fist.
OK already there.

Another 34% rise in the SP - 99 by Easter?
Does anyone know if bioplastics are edible? If so, it would be a great marketing stratergy to say you can carry home your groceries then eat the bag - what could be greener? You could even have salt & vinegar flavour, cheese & onion hedgehog and bacon, etc. (or tripe and onion for you lads N of Watford!)

Ever eaten corn flakes, or one of those 1.50p chickens. A plastic bag tastes the same but it's cheaper (unless it's one from M&S).
