jimward9 - 29 Feb 2008 14:22 - 25722 of 27111

Amasing what a statement can do, what would happen, if they actualy got an order!!!
Maybe just maybe one day who knows, I may get my money back (above 1.91p) who knows, one day, a long time in the future, when I am much older!

driver - 29 Feb 2008 14:43 - 25723 of 27111

If it gets to 6p I will also be in profit.

Tonyrelaxes - 29 Feb 2008 14:55 - 25724 of 27111

I had to re-re-read the RNS to see if I'd missed something and did notice something I'd not realised before:

"Stanelco plc, the only bioplastics manufacturer headquartered in the UK"

Also:
"Adoption of our green technology is growing rapidly....."

I do so hope this adoption is suitably reflected somewhere in the results statement!

Tonyrelaxes - 29 Feb 2008 15:27 - 25727 of 27111

"Adoption of our green technology is growing rapidly....."

Mould adopts itself and grows on unused items - like the Greenseal machine I once saw in Marchwood?
Mould is green.

Is this what they mean?

nyleve - 29 Feb 2008 15:29 - 25728 of 27111

Come on chaps, weve heard nothing for yonks, at least we now know there is some form of life in SEO land !!!!

driver - 29 Feb 2008 16:07 - 25729 of 27111

I agree and have done a Kim, now 4p to break even.

Mad dogs an English Man.

oblomov - 29 Feb 2008 16:30 - 25730 of 27111

14p and I break even. I thought I was mad, but buy more? There are worse afflicted than me, obviously!! Wouldn't touch 'em with a bioplastics bargepole.

I know it seems mad but you must not look back seo could easy double or treble from here with just momentum alone.

kimoldfield - 29 Feb 2008 16:38 - 25732 of 27111

It's a pity the weekend has put a stop to the trading fun, with the last bit of momentum seen, things could have more interesting. Now we have the weekend for the asylum to round everybody up and put 'em back inside!

Monday could be interesting too though.

Trying a bit of mature reflection. For a change.
The question is why the RNS today. It says nothing and is not price sensitive. It is not required at all. Except..........
Yesterday there was some activity and the price rose for no apparant reason. If it had reached SEO ears that someone was rumour-mongering about SEO getting a deal etc. on the back of the debate, then SEO were duty bound to issue an RNS to clarify their position. The RNS does not seem to do this, except for one or two clues.
Firstly, why say SEO are the only ones HQ'd in the UK, unless the rumour was a "UK based" company stands to benefit etc.etc.
Secondly it mentions increased capacity and then talks about satisfying demand and working with customers.
Possible scenario then; (Only possible - with SEO anything could be true)
Rumours went around regarding the M&S bit and the political statements to be made. These mentioned a UK based operation. SEO SP rose.
SEO issue a RNS to clarify but cannot say they will benefit and cannot declare any deals cos none are done, but to be accurate state they are the only UK company and go on to say that production has increased and they are working with, because to say the rumour was unfounded would be a lie.
I like that version. I just wish it were true.
Alan

waveydavey - 29 Feb 2008 16:42 - 25734 of 27111

I don't believe this, they put out an RNS that has nothing to do with anything new, and the share price goes up.
I refuse to get optimistic until they actually deliver something.
afterall we've been here before havent we?
i'm surprised they were allowed to release such an RNS. it would be more at home as a readers comment in a tabloid.
SEO management are still a bunch of ....................................

On the other hand hype it 4p and i'm out, for good.

Tonyrelaxes - 29 Feb 2008 16:47 - 25735 of 27111

Driver.
True. True.
I have just about doubled my holding today - at a cost of 15k
The average cost of my previous holding (slightly more shares than I bought today, was over 300k

Doubling or trebling wont produce me an overall profit - but would reduce the loss.
I am looking at todays purchase in isolation of the past and my overall SEO position.

driver - 29 Feb 2008 16:48 - 25736 of 27111

Al
I like that version and I'm being positive that is is true 15p here we come.

dawall - 29 Feb 2008 16:53 - 25737 of 27111

waveydavey 4 p will be the wrong price to get out. With SEO its either the skys the limit or bust. The latter is far more likely but to get to 4p would need some orders although not necessarily big ones. If they do get orders for me it will be a sign that they have some differentiation or advantage or else why would a 3rd party use them. If they do prove to have differentiation, and can resolve whatever the issues are around the IP then they should be T'd up for continued strong growth IF nothing else crawls out of the woodwork, and yes this is a big IF of course.

Tonyrelaxes - 29 Feb 2008 16:53 - 25738 of 27111

Alan, Thoughtful post.

On a more flippant look mentions increased capacity and then talks about satisfying demand and working with customers
They have been satisfying these criteria for years. If you have none, its 100% fulfilled.

dawall - 29 Feb 2008 16:58 - 25739 of 27111

TR I averaged down from an average of 14p, although not at your quantities to do the same, ie a small rise could reduce the loss rather than make a profit. For those in at 14p or above spending a small amount more (2-5% of original stake), albeit at a much higher risk, but at 0.2 - 0.3p brings the average price down significantly. As an example if you're going to lose 100,000k you might as well lose 105,000k, the wife's going to bury you either way!

oblomov - 29 Feb 2008 17:02 - 25740 of 27111

A case of deja vu here.

Rumours, SP rises, RNS's that say commit to nothing but add just a little strength to the rumours.

You have to ask yourself (as we were very slow to do in the past) where the rumours originated.

Leopards, spots and changes spring to mind.
