I must be mad, had a sudden urge to top up, don't know why I did it, just a strange feeling that AT LAST, SEO may actually be getting somewhere. Someone please pass me a glass of water and my pills.

This section says it all.

Stanelco is one of Europe's leading players in the bioplastics market and has a
heritage of over 15 years of research and development in this area.

The error in the sentence is..... Stanelco is one of Europ's leading players....It should read WAS.

Also it shows that with 15 years of research they have very little to show for it. Many newer competitors are far in advance as regards to contracts/sales.

The word heritage is not one I would have chosen.

Heritage....
1 property that descends to an heir (do we have to wait that long)
2 something transmitted by or acquired from a predecessor (I thought it was their idea) No wonder the patent prob was evident

I only hope Stanelco don't end up a 'Heritage Site' worth little, in a bad state of repair that looses money hand over fist.
OK already there.

kimoldfield - 29 Feb 2008 10:13 - 25693 of 27111

I'm going to be rich...........hahahaha!!! Oh, here comes the nurse.

oblomov - 29 Feb 2008 10:14 - 25694 of 27111

Another 34% rise in the SP - 99 by Easter?

Does anyone know if bioplastics are edible? If so, it would be a great marketing stratergy to say you can carry home your groceries then eat the bag - what could be greener? You could even have salt & vinegar flavour, cheese & onion hedgehog and bacon, etc. (or tripe and onion for you lads N of Watford!)

halifax - 29 Feb 2008 10:18 - 25695 of 27111

Certainly tripe flavour would be appropriate!

required field - 29 Feb 2008 10:19 - 25696 of 27111

Try nougat : the wrapping is delicious as for the outer wrapper you can chew it for hours (mind you, it gives you stomach ache) !

greekman - 29 Feb 2008 10:20 - 25697 of 27111

Ever eaten corn flakes, or one of those 1.50p chickens. A plastic bag tastes the same but it's cheaper (unless it's one from M&S).

boldtrader - 29 Feb 2008 10:21 - 25698 of 27111

Oblo, yes, many years ago SEO were developing edible soup sachets.

nyleve - 29 Feb 2008 10:22 - 25699 of 27111

Hi all - great to have something to get excited about with SEO, like many of you, been a holder for a long, long time. Good to see some of the old names reappearing.
Lets hope its not a flash in the pan !!!!!

Dave

greekman - 29 Feb 2008 10:23 - 25700 of 27111

Just seen the SP. I think Kimoldfield is right, something must be happening.

kimoldfield - 29 Feb 2008 10:26 - 25701 of 27111

We've broken out of the assylum Greek!

PATISEAR - 29 Feb 2008 10:30 - 25702 of 27111

Is Mr Mines telling us the patent challange is no more????.

PATISEAR - 29 Feb 2008 10:31 - 25703 of 27111

Greek
Are you still in?

Edit: I don't mean the asylum.

garyble - 29 Feb 2008 10:35 - 25704 of 27111

What a load of bol@#cks!

2 weeks to results, but fear....crap results plus current momentum not being sustained = drop back to 0.2p!

To release an RNS which simply agrees with the press focus on the environmental impact of plastic bags does not seem particularly price sensitive.

Could there be a message in the last para?.......Jam tomorrow

greekman - 29 Feb 2008 10:35 - 25705 of 27111

Hi Patisear,

Yes to both.

Out now though (not SEO) but back pm.

Keep it going.

Tonyrelaxes - 29 Feb 2008 10:59 - 25706 of 27111

Wow.

PM2's prediction of 35 by Christmas looming large.

Well, we have 35 now. Just need to shuffle the decimal point a bit (a lot!) to the right.

required field - 29 Feb 2008 11:14 - 25707 of 27111

Well dust off me cobwebs !, SEO top of the leaders board on a nonsense RNS, somethings never change !

Tonyrelaxes - 29 Feb 2008 11:15 - 25708 of 27111

Actually I am of 2 minds over the RNS.

1. PM (not2) has been using the same water cooler as his predecessors and has now finally caught the same MRSA bug as HW, IB, MW.
(MRSA - Make Ramping Statements 'Accelerando')

2. Good to see someone actively promoting something.
But I do wonder exactly how many supermarket buyers go to Stock Market announcements for their new products and materials?

robinhood - 29 Feb 2008 11:21 - 25709 of 27111

Even for SEO standards this RNS is a load of b*****cks
