ASOS have dropped quite significantly in the past week for no particular reason and I view this as the perfect opportunity to invest as I can see them bouncing right back up to the 5.50p mark in the next 2-3 weeks. STRONG BUY!!

Price to book value 35.28 pretty much sums it up. Ever seen a figure like that before?

sp has looked totally nuts for ages and ages and ages, but when (if?) the relative pack of cards collapses then there'll be much blood ..... but when (if) that will happen is almost anyone's guess
they said dotcom was a whole different ballgame and that the usual criteria did not apply ..... remind me what happened :-)

I think it'll pan out the same way as any other dot.com when growth starts to become saturated then the figures will pull back to be reflective upon NAV and EPS. At the moment future EPS figures are 40% year on year as per previous performance, for how long is that really going to be sustainable, who knows, I doubt it'll last forever. Keep it on watch and wait for the figures.

The trouble is these could just as easily go to £70 or £80 short term.

I'm watching these self-contradicting specualations behind the growing account thanks to asos for years and I barely cant comprehend how these types of comments are able to surface..
why on earth bring such calculations (one of hundreds..useless),empty thoughts... when asc's market proving always wrong time after time... after time....
where is ability to adopt?
nobody ever learn?

I've been through the balance sheet and that's why it's on watch. As you mention the balance sheet I assume you've been through it so should know that ASOS is trading well inexcess of it.

Not really sure what you mean by "excess" or exactly "excess of what".
There is nothing in balance sheet what would suggest asos is trading well in excess.
Now
I know that your net asset value or NAV sounds pretty serious especially in short but is useless here.Without getting into details Nav is overvalued every year even back to time when price was 400.
The big money don't use Nav to keep buying.I bet you may see that(see chart).
In short Nav is good with not known future and volatile earnings record- nothing to do with asos and Nav is mostly value of death business- no one is dying here (you? :)) -- exactly opposite.
Belive it or not 8000 is about getting close to sticker.but just...
proud holder.

shortie - i got so bored with tomasz's regular pretend pidgin and inability to write intelligible english and his other nonsenses that i took the unprecedented step of squelching him; it's been bliss as i'm now not even tempted to look at his posts .... you may (or may not) wish to consider doing likewise
