jeffmack - 27 Mar 2004 13:08 - 4959 of 23498

HT
How does that work?

Socrates - 27 Mar 2004 15:14 - 4960 of 23498

How quaint, it says "pound" when I type it in!

Socrates - 27 Mar 2004 15:22 - 4961 of 23498

Hey chaps and chapesses, Old Socks has a 100% record on the nags. I'd better give it up before I catch the bug. 33:1 not bad for the old "I like the name" method. I just knew a donkey with a name like Wing Commander would not let me down.

Yeah OK, so it was only 4th!

vasey - 27 Mar 2004 15:41 - 4962 of 23498

Brilliant Socco! I missed the race, so could you post the full result, please?

jeffmack - 27 Mar 2004 15:50 - 4963 of 23498

14:45
1 Babodana 20-1
2 Quito (IRE) 50-1

jeffmack - 27 Mar 2004 15:51 - 4964 of 23498

well done little woman, 20/1 winner

jeffmack - 27 Mar 2004 16:19 - 4965 of 23498

And well done old Socs

snoball - 27 Mar 2004 17:31 - 4966 of 23498

Bloody old boy network, that's what it is.

little woman - 27 Mar 2004 17:48 - 4967 of 23498

Thank you - over the moon. I decided on Babodana because when he rompt home on a previous occassion the trainer made a comment about his liking soft going, and I figured the ground would be soft as it's been raining over the last few days.

Excellent odds - just as well I couldn't figure out who the favourite was!

little woman - 27 Mar 2004 17:49 - 4968 of 23498

May seem a silly question - but how much do I win!

jeffmack - 27 Mar 2004 18:17 - 4969 of 23498

little woman
well the win will be 2,000 on its own and I cant remember how GD works out the place

Martini - 27 Mar 2004 18:18 - 4970 of 23498

Well done LW that must put you way out in the lead. Got to be crica 2500 into your pot.

little woman - 27 Mar 2004 18:22 - 4971 of 23498

Yes - and now watch me lose it all!

Martini - 27 Mar 2004 18:25 - 4972 of 23498

O less the 500 loss on the other bet but still net 2000.
Sit back now and bet a 5 and watch us all try to catch you.
Mind you worth the chase :)
