Mr Pod is better known under the many other aliases to be found on the AXM thread. Read into his / her post what you will, recently banned from AM as Karen / Pro / Informer. Say no more!

andysmith, thanks for your post,I tend to agree that SEO will be big in the long term. One point - are we not all speculators to some degree?
Fortunately for me I hold shares in oil/gas exploration, media, banking and technology companies. A balanced portfolio I think, but all are speculation to varying degrees imo.

Paul - please stop telling lies - I have never been to this addicted to shares web site - but will go take a look now - if somone has signed up on there pretending to be me - then so be it - but I can assure you I do not post on there.
I only post on BBs that have the sense to allow both sides of the story - well moderated ones - like MoneyAM and a few others - if a site is not well moderated you will not find me posting there.

Anyway - back to the earlier question which nobody seems to be able to answer - were those Asda Salmon trials with RF Welded Cut To Open lids - if they were then you would expect an awkward welded Cut To Open lid to provide better sealing than standard consumer friendly peelable lid.
Did those Salmon packs have NEW on them in reference to NEW recipe or NEW in terms of Cut To Open lid - telling people to Cut them open and not peel the lids.
If these are true it calls into question the whole issue of those trials and their results - as from the RHPS report we see Howard White saying that the City "misunderstood" the RNSs about the USA engineers - have people misunderstood the trial results on Salmon ?????
The RNS simply states to the effect "factors associated with the Greenseal lidding" well a Cut To Open welded lid is to do with it - and also NEW on the pack or NEW instructions to Cut To Open is to do with it too - however - the simple statement and no real datum or info can lead to that statement being "misunderstood" like earlier statements.
Very concerning - if its true about the welded cut to open lid - and true about NEW being on the packing - it means future RNSs have to be checked to the finite detail as it appears "misunderstanding" is becoming common place for this loss making company.
Well worth looking into to see if its true or not - always DYOR.

He Won't open the box, he want's the money, but the SEO short at 15p is locked, and the odds loaded against him.
Not long now ....
Stanelco is already moving ahead to market GREENSEAL to leading U.S. grocers and retailers, including Wal-Mart, Albertson's, Midwestern retailing giant Kroger's, California-based Von's, Ralph's and Safeway, and others. Stanelco has opened a North American office in Orlando, Fla., to coordinate international sales and implementation efforts for Stanelco
Stephanie Morgan-Fisher, Director of Stanelco's North American Operations said, "The UK conversion marks the beginning of a revolution in packaging. This is the first machine of ASDA's 200-machine commitment in the United Kingdom. We are aggressively marketing this technology in North America simultaneously and expect to announce our first agreement for conversions in the United States and Canada in the near future."

Pete, thanks for that, just an excuse for me to post something tangible really as Bos says, most of last week was utter garbage and very tedious.
Sambal, of course everything we do is speculating. The speculation here is how much of the market will SEO capture and how will this turn into sales/profits/re-curring revenues. That is where the different opinions come into play. Oil Exploration is exactly that, and in the last 12 months, opposite ends of the scale in Cairn and Regal/Ramco. Good to have balanced portfolio, merely pointing out that if SEO was a company with no profits to date but potentially sat on say an oilfield, some investors would be happier??
I also have an exploration company, JLP.

From Saturday's Financial Times: Asda's new chief executive, Andy Bond, says it could take up to 18 months to reverse the poor trading performance at the supermarket group.
Effect on SEO? Pretty obvious really. SEO technology offers cost savings in addition to increased sales as proven from the first completed trial. Are ASDA going to want to hang about introducing Greenseal technology as fast as they can. Errrr.... that's a tough one, but I guess not. ASDA will use Greenseal as fast as they can to try and improve their trading performance, and undoubtably it will!
