ASOS have dropped quite significantly in the past week for no particular reason and I view this as the perfect opportunity to invest as I can see them bouncing right back up to the 5.50p mark in the next 2-3 weeks. STRONG BUY!!

BOO would be the better buy on fundies i think, but much fun may be had with ASC if you get the timing right (there's the rub!)
as a word of continuing caution ..... ASC order book is still horribly weak

not that it matters but am just a little surprised that the FTSE over the past 4 years has actually outperformed ASC (albeit by a whisker)

225261.. closing uncrossed trade, volume too big to get the last automated trade price, sell side trader improved closing price and will definitely get bonus for that. Tomorrow important day

i will hold my hand up and say i bought a small number at 2340, so i too am hoping for some sort of bounce, but shall not allow myself to be greedy
meanwhile, DOW is still looking strong, and if the fed does not put a spanner in the works later this evening, then tomorrow might be quite jolly for a change

ftse virtually unchanged in this 4 year period whilst asos down by about 8 % or so during same period

i've rechecked ....... FTSE is now virtually back to where it was this time 4 years ago
what a grim thought

As I said it really does not matter but in my book:
FTSE 19/12/14: 6750
FTSE 19/12/18: 6765
ASC 19/12/14: 2560
ASC 19/12/18: 2281

Yep... looks like feds put the spanner’s into the market. In a hindsight I guess the whole stock market probably needed a reality check....but my view is recession is not coming, just long overdue market correction.

the sp is holding up well this morning at the time of writing.
retail sales out later should be grim reading.

Cynic it was just an observation as everyone (incl me) hailed ASOS as the "darling"of the market whilst BOO seem to have fared a lot better

ASC is relatively mature while BOO is still growing and with its own branding

Geeez asc for 22... if i only knew.. i would start loading the whole truck now... the one of the most expensive stocks selling at PE 22...this is the time for mature long term investing..
