THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Dil - 08 May 2015 01:55 - 59798 of 81564

And lets give Scotland what they want ... bye bye , and give Wales a referendum while your at it cos we aint going anywhere.

Dil - 08 May 2015 02:00 - 59799 of 81564

We should also be allowed a referendum on whether we want to have a Welsh assembly before more powers are to passed to us.

Dil - 08 May 2015 02:09 - 59800 of 81564

Fred , in all fairness Labour have got stuffed.

Imo Milli was the wrong brother and Clegg is getting what he deserves for selling his voters out 5 years ago.

Chris Carson - 08 May 2015 02:27 - 59801 of 81564

That's Douglas Alexander history, Jim Murphy next?

Haystack - 08 May 2015 02:33 - 59802 of 81564

Libs held Cerdigion in Wales.

Chris Carson - 08 May 2015 03:13 - 59803 of 81564

Murphy history, getting better and better LOL!!!

Chris Carson - 08 May 2015 03:15 - 59804 of 81564

Shit wrong Murphy! :0(

Chris Carson - 08 May 2015 03:18 - 59805 of 81564

Oh no it was the Jim Murphy :))

Haystack - 08 May 2015 04:40 - 59806 of 81564

Vince Cable gone! Good riddance.

VICTIM - 08 May 2015 07:06 - 59807 of 81564

I wish Glegg would do one .

VICTIM - 08 May 2015 07:28 - 59808 of 81564

So that's another 5yrs of Freds disdain and hatred to come .

Chris Carson - 08 May 2015 07:33 - 59809 of 81564

Good riddance to Labour in Scotland. At least it took the Conservatives two generations to decline, Labour have achieved it in six months! LOL!!!

VICTIM - 08 May 2015 07:33 - 59810 of 81564

Ed Balls may be out , asked for recount .

Chris Carson - 08 May 2015 07:35 - 59811 of 81564

Icing on the cake would be for Ed Balls to lose now.

cynic - 08 May 2015 07:45 - 59812 of 81564

i chuckle greatly at fred's cartoon of the long knives, but very clearly out for the wrong person

meanwhile, he'll gripe like crazy yet refuses to vote to change the status quo
fred - you've got the gov't you deserve

============

for myself, i hope the slim conservative (likely) majority will put a check on some of the more loony-right proposals that may be put out

i confess i'm puzzled that the conservatives have managed to increase their number of seats
just perhaps it's related as much to the promise of an eu referendum as a total rejection of labour's stance on same and their long record of economic incompetence

TANKER - 08 May 2015 07:48 - 59813 of 81564

libs wiped out great news made my day and will be smiling for months
pity that clegg got in but he is finished .

cynic - 08 May 2015 07:49 - 59814 of 81564

TANKER - 08 May 2015 07:50 - 59815 of 81564

now we can have great right wing policies .
cut benefits get the lazy out of their beds
cut family allowance to two children and freeze it for five years
