T.
Probably, if I always knew the truth, some of my actions may have been different. Certainly, I would have many regrets, but shame is not an emotion that I seem to suffer from, or have frequently enjoyed.
As far and killing, or murdering of another person in "cold blood" is concerned, although at the time of that action it would sometimes seem "justifiable", in retrospect the results seems to be less than useful, or gainful to a society as a whole.
Muslim laws, rules, regulation, mores, customs etc., may influence the morality of many, but it does not alter my opinion of the rights, or wrongs of an action or entity. Although, that which was personally introjected when I was young, obviously does
I think a society is allowed to live by its own laws and principles, but "all" are entitled to try to modify those laws and principles if they hold different views.

Aids,
You constructed the question and intimated that is what I was suggesting.
In that once again you seem to believe that you have mind reading ability, then it is more appropriate to construct my answer for yourself.
It is more likely to correspond to your internal reality or needs.
So this isn't your post then ?

========
Libya has problems, that is why I suggested the it would need a intervention military force on the ground. The war was easy, the peace is the difficulty.
I hope that sense may prevail and they proceed to a representative democracy, but the pathway may be difficult.

Aids,
If out of the melee in Libya comes a truly representative government, and it ask for military help from NATO or directly from Britain, then I think there is a moral responsibility to do so.
Therefore the answer is yes.
I would think even the most morally naive would come to that conclusion.
