Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

All,

The feed is now coming back on line. We are checking for any residual issues. Once again please accept my apologies for this.

stockwatch seems to be back but level 2 still down.

Toya - 01 Oct 2007 11:01 - 6508 of 7315

Eureka!!! The meter is running again - phew!

Chea - 01 Oct 2007 11:01 - 6509 of 7315

Agreed re L2 has not restarted. Closed browser and restarted but no joy with L2 data.

ValueMax - 01 Oct 2007 11:01 - 6510 of 7315

i think that stockwatch is still displaying old data on companies which have had no trades coming though since the feed came back online. (e.g. LNR)

... and it seems that volumes are calculated from the point that the feed returned, not from the start of the market. (e.g. NRK)

L2 is sort of working. You can see orders placed on the book after 10:53 but nothing before.

sealed,

Please accept my apologies - the informtion will only start to populate from that point I am afraid.

You're right - I rejoiced too soon. Level 2 seems to be working its way through "End of Admin" - is this Friday's leftovers?

Snip - 01 Oct 2007 11:04 - 6514 of 7315

nice to be back to `normal`. I didn`t like advfn and made 2 cakes and bread instead

IanT(MoneyAM) - 01 Oct 2007 11:08 - 6515 of 7315

toya,

The end of admin should not cause a problem - we are looking into why that is displaying,

dave leach - 01 Oct 2007 11:08 - 6516 of 7315

yep still not right. Wonder if moneyam have considered ditching Comstock???????????

Seymour Clearly - 01 Oct 2007 11:09 - 6517 of 7315

Despite my complaint about "opening time", I'd never reconsider ADVFN because the idea of customer service is non-existent. At least MAM do respond.

I can smell the baking from here Snip. Pass a piece please :-)

Stan - 01 Oct 2007 11:10 - 6518 of 7315

Tried to use ADVFN but won't work with the Mac OS...how cheap can you get.

cyberraja - 01 Oct 2007 11:10 - 6519 of 7315

so market maker stocks wont show level 2 at all today ?

Chea - 01 Oct 2007 11:13 - 6520 of 7315

MM stocks question was one I was just pondering. What is the position there?

IanT(MoneyAM) - 01 Oct 2007 11:14 - 6521 of 7315

re MM stocks,

Unfortunately, they will not show the order book quotes until an MM moves its price I am afraid. All new quotes will then show as they are updated.

Used several sites and can say with certainty MoneyAM are consistantly the best of those tried, (especially customer responce) but that is not the piont. MoneyAM management, MUST aproach their supplier for compensation which should be passed onto us the end customer.
MoneyAM and ourselves pay for a service which is not being supplied to an exceptable level. End of story.

cyberraja - 01 Oct 2007 11:20 - 6523 of 7315

So effectively even the stockwatch quotes are not correct - prices will only be corrected IF they change ?

IanT(MoneyAM) - 01 Oct 2007 11:22 - 6524 of 7315

cyberraja,

Unfortunately, that will be the case with the seaq stocks,

Ian

Chea - 01 Oct 2007 11:22 - 6525 of 7315

Ian,

Probably a naive question but, why no backfill?
