If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!
Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.
The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.
This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)
If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

Ian: I still think they should be removed altogether. They are a complete distraction and they ruin an otherwise very useful and well-designed site. Do you really want your advertisers to drive away the very customers they are trying to attract?
There must be some kind of advertising standards to apply here - just as there would be for television etc.

Something completely different, and I'm sure easily fixable:
BLNX: the chart will draw for any period from 6 days upwards but I can never get it to come up for 5 days or less - and not for Intraday either, which is a particularly useful one some days. Could you have a look at that please? - Thanks.

While you have the bonnet up and are slowing down your flashing green jobbies on Stockwatch, please just tweak the spanner and get the bid / offer to retain their red / blue changes.
Do that and I promise to become a subscriber within the week !
Now, there's an incentive !

rm,
It is something we have looked at, but at the moment, I am afraid that we will not be developing it, if this changes, I will of course let you know,

May I ask, is that because it is too complicated, you have other more important things to do, you don't believe it is necessary, or that users in general don't believe it is necessary?
Just curious.
Thanks.

rm,
It is just down to the changes that would be needed, in that those columns would need to be isolated from the rest as they would have to re calculate based on their last price.
As I say should we decide to do this, I will let you know,
thanks

I've just tried to access Shares Magazine online like I've been able to do since it's inception and got the message for the first time that I needed to enter my username and password. I entered my MAM username and password but this is invalid.
Following the link 'if you are a shares subscriber' (which I am although separately to my MAM subscription) suggests that this is to set up a MAM Premier Services account which I do not need as I am on Monthly Level 2.
Am I doing something wrong, or is it something your end?
Many thanks
Andrew

Chalkie,
No you should be able to use your chalkie username and password as the acess is enabled on your this account. I have sent you a password reminder just for clarity - can you try when that arrives and let me know what happens please?

Sorry - tried using my MAM username and both the password you have recently sent me and my normal password
Both come up with the message 'Sorry, Chalkie is not a valid Shares magazine subscriber'
By the way, why if my MAM account is set up to be able to access this do I need to input a username and password again?
Look forward to hearing from you
Andrew

Ian
Sorry
Just tried again Chalkie and your new password and it came up with the message
'Sorry username/password not recognised'
The message was still as above i.e. Chalkie not a valid Shares subscriber if I entered my usual MAM password
I still don't understand why if my MAM account is set up to be able to access this do I need to input username and password again
Andrew
