Dil, No I haven't subscribed to SCLN. Majority of cash tied up and probably I prefer to watch from the sidelines.

However, I still think Meldex Technology and concept are valid and with sensible management "should" eventually be very profitable. Perhaps, a little more slowly than I wanted or expected.

You can still apply for CLN units - if you haven't already been e-mailed the document & application e-mail Meldex directly. As someone posted earlier in the week applications can't be checked to see if they are actually from shareholders because no one knows who holds in nominee accounts. No evidence of a holding is required with the application. So even if your in limbo between nominee and holding a certificate your application will be accepted.

My guess is they will fall short of the target by some margin by the deadline, then we will see how skilled Barry is if he can turn debtors into SCLNers during the extension period.

I guess Bridge would be a likely candidate for up to 500k, so He's certainly got a decent chance if he can get a few large guys onside.

Haven't really been following this saga lately, but I understand the SCLN is underway which is avaialble in units of 2500 which can be exchanged at any time for 25000 MDX shares at 10p.

Correct me if I am wrong but the shares delisted at 7p or thereabouts and the last information with regard to the accounts uncovered some shoddy practises which vastly inflated turnover and profitability. Additionally, signifcant elements of the company have since been put into administration, closed or flogged off.

Now if I wanted to invest 2500 in MDX I would wait until they relist on PLUS (if they get that far) and buy 250,000 shares at the 1p they will likely re-open at.

So would I, as I expect a price lower than 7p, probably less than 5p, so people could possibly double their profit by buying in the market, IMO.

However, they have to raise the 6 million first, so some people will have to by SCLn's for it to relist in the first place.
