Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

I have to agree with you GB. I thinks Hays does it out of defiance rather than conviction. If he could give examples of how Nuttall is what he claims to be, it would help his argument, but he never does.
He also likes to point out that Crooked Hillary won the popular vote by more than 2M votes, while ignoring that UKIP had 2.4M votes more than the SNP. The SNP has 56 seats and UKIP 1. He will say that that's how the system works, while ignoring how the USA system works. Crooked Hillary spent an estimated $1.3B on losing, almost twice as much as Trump. I don't believe the rumour that half of Crooked Hillary's loot was spent on trying to make her look fit and younger.

Trump is a crony capitalist. He is a con man, he lies and makes non deliverable promises to achieve his objective. He backtracks and changes positions with ease. He is a serial business failure that minimises his loses whilst his business partners take the hit. He proudly boasts about how smart he is by avoiding to pay his share of taxes due. He is morally corrupt. He is no leader.

Unlikely that Le Penn will win. Not impossible but opponent is quite right wing. French have lived under Fascists unlike US.

will10 He is a serial business failure
Like him or not that's an odd statement , he lives on the top floor of Trump tower ,takes off in his large helicopter to board his own junbo jet ,flies to his florida estate ,has sky scrapers all over the USA and abroad ,huge golf resorts etc etc .
Hardly a business failure .
I suggest you have a look at this .

Check his list of bankruptcies. How many do you need to be a serial business failure? 1, 2, 3 ??
A few of The Donalds quotes "I play to people's fantasies" " I call it truthful hyperbole. Its an innocent form of exaggeration"
If living in a gold leaf penthouse, having your own jet etc., while avoiding your fair share of taxes can be said to be a measure of success, I disagree.
Just like our own tycoon, Sir shifty Phillip Green, Trump is a con man.
Not some one that Tanker should offer up as a God for us to worship..

One of the favourite terms of "progressives" read regressives, is the airy fairy term "fair share of taxes".
Lets be clear, in the US if you don't pay your taxes, you go to jail. The tax code allows companies to carry forward losses. Losses can be incurred due to adverse currency fluctuations, inventory price changes, assets revaluations, capital investment etc etc. Just as a company can make taxable profits if prices or currencies move in the opposite direction. None of that is illegal. Trump didn't avoid tax, his accountants do the books for him. Legally. Many of the darlings of the left have had years when they suffered accountable losses. Warren Buffett for example. I wonder if he pays his "fair share of taxes" on his $60B? At least Trump builds, unlike Soros.

Not true. Buffett released for 2015. Nor is it illegal not to release your tax returns. Trump is probably not as rich as he claims. But that is the man. He is screwy, inconsistent and instinctive. Hopefully he will choose a good team to guide and support him.

Look, face it, Haystack is bereft...his bestest mate Dave left him in the lurch.
All through the brexit contest, he kept banging on about wanting to leave, but putting forward every objection he could lay hand to.
The man's a mountebank.

I do want to leave and I think Cameron/Osborne were largely right. I expect there to be a catastrophically bad effect on the UK for a few years. Despite that expectation, I think it will be better in the long run. I also prefer to be away from the EU, which I think will ultimately fail unless all members accept total federalism.

A post on Facebook claimed that the new £5 notes circulated by the Bank of England contained tallow – a substance made from animal fats which many vegetarians don’t use or buy.
The Bank of England was emailed.
The reply confirmed it: “We can confirm that the polymer pellet from which the base substrate is made contains a trace of a substance known as tallow. Tallow is derived from animal fats (suet) and is a substance that is also used widely in the manufacture of candles and soap.” Bank of England spokesperson
Industry tallow comes from cows and/or sheep. As such no vegan, vegetarian, Sikh, Jain or Hindu would knowingly use a product containing tallow.
The reply from the Bank does not acknowledge the fact that vegans, vegetarians and Hindus are very careful when it comes to buying candles and soap. What they can’t do is choose which notes they get circulated with.
Putting animal products into bank notes gives people no choice in whether they use it.
This manufacturing decision by the Bank of England is short sighted, offensive and needs to be changed.
