Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Manuel.
Consider the symbolism.
Like a bull in the marketplace.

I have no personal animosity to the Queen and her Duke.
But, I object to the tax avoidance by herself, cronies and other hangers-on.
It strikes me like primitive tribalism and belonging to a bygone era.

issues in Brexit talks, as millions of beneficiaries, including farmers and scientists across the continent, rely on its commitments for funding.
Even when taking into account the U.K.’s “rebate” -- the discount obtained by Margaret Thatcher in 1984 that knocks an annual 5 billion pounds ($6.4 billion) off the country’s contribution -- Britain still provides about 12 billion euros to the bloc’s budget on a net basis.
“The gap in EU finances arising from the United Kingdom’s withdrawal and from the financing needs of new priorities need to be clearly acknowledged,” the commission said. “The EU budget faces a tough challenge to fund more with less.”

uk gives the eu 12 billion a year , and we get nothing for that money and those that take out money and never put a penny in have the same power and vote
it can not be right , we must leave and leave now with out a deal if that is the only way

i read that earlier today, and it's an interesting comment that may well have an impact on the negotiations, though those will be very long, convoluted and difficult for all

Le Tour starts Saturday. Best sporting event of the year IMO. Those riders are as hard as nails.

bunch of nutters!
they should join us, for we take a gentle 30/50 daily jaunt (length depends on terrain) and have plenty of time to smell the sites and see the flowers and are not too knackered to enjoy a good dinner and a bevy or two

IT,
Thank you for posting that.
I took part in the Le Tour about 12 years ago.
It was a tremendous feat for me.
Enjoyed it tremendously.
