When I saw the 20p prediction at the start of the month, I admit to being a bit pessimistic.
Well it got there on the back of good news and finally this today.
Good call proptrade.
I know there is no guarantee it will stay there, but it is an improtant milestone for this stock.
It shows that SEY has plenty of substance, and yes we can all look forward to vey exciting times.
Team SEY.
Yea!!

Hi boy's just got in. What a good day for us and being a greedy sod I'd like more of the same tomorrow. What a diamond the mother-in-law is. Told you she'd sort them out. As for the mess leave it to her.

give me an S give me an E give me a Y...what does it spell!!!!
we all know that magic word consolidation and if news thins out and these dip back to 18 then we have the chance to retest the recent high (today) and move to the late 20's.
classic price action so far and hopefully we will see some follow through in the news tomorrow. the really encouraging thing is the volume and the added punters involved in this name. all bodes well for the quarter ahead and specifically for the expected announcement.
come on the SEY!

It is sometimes so easy to get caught up in the ups and downs of short term activity, but just as a reminder of the longer term, what a cracking chart this is. Of note, growth is accelerating!!

That's the spirit, go SEY!! Looking at the chart, it's easy to see what happens after a period of consolidation. A couple of double bottoms then up we go, such a cracking chart.
Drilling update tomorrow and hopefully news out this week re the West African investment. Also, remember what happened when an unexpected drilling RNS came out a few weeks ago. Plenty of newsflow to come here for us.
Thanks to PTH for posting the chart, always good to look at it!
This out this evening from UK-Analyst.com's Stcokmarket Reporter:
"Shares in Sterling Energy jumped after it confirmed that it was in advanced discussions concerning an investment in West Africa. The company said this followed weekend speculation of a large deal and today's jump in its share price. The stock finished the session up 1.5p to 20p."
Bring on tomorrow! Early start!

"Can't get a quote for ROC, broker won't accept it?" from seawallwalker.
Only 1605 shares in ROC sold today, the Co. has a market cap. of 135m! Are they suspended?

Sorry, went off at half cock, never looked at them before. The market cap. presumably refers to the the Australian exchange, they could be miniscule here, and it all could be innocent.
They are a bit wobbly at the moment though!

Yes they are.
The silence encountered from last weeks non appearance of a trading statement, rings bells with me.
Time will tell though.

ROC Oil has been slippped in the calander today for a trading statement as a matter of interest.

Would that be an actual trading statement or just a drilling update which Roc released earlier? I notice from the calender that HRN shows a trading statement due today, but they released the drilling update.
