Morning all from a dull Hamburg. Havnt been here before so I am taking the afternoon off to have a quick look around.

As I am in Hamburg I think I will have a Hamburger for lunch !

That danish went down a treat, thank you Bunny! Shall make a cuppa to follow... gasping, removal men came early so chaotic. Anyway, house still looks as full although daughter and belongings should be departing! I am cleaning house, whilst kids have gone to play tennis in the sunshine... am doing something wrong here :-)

Just back from my long walk round Hamburg, failed to get a hamburger for lunch, made do with a Chicken sandwitch instead ;-) Hamburg seems a Nice city to walk round.

JJ, not much football feel in the city centre but there are loads of police everywhere, ther are vanloads of then in side streets all with riot gear. The match is on Friday so I guess there could be a lot more fans in town tomorrow, today I didnt see many.

Maybe those people in riot gear are the fans? Glad you had a nice walk, couldn't you find a schnell imbis somewhere, frick' and chips used to be a wonderful snack.

Nice flight back from Hamburg yesterday evening, I sat on the right hand side of the plane and watched while northern Germany and Holland slowly passed by. The visibilty must have been close to a 100 miles, I could see the whole of the Norfolk coast at one point even though we were Over Holland and a good way from the coast. Sometimes flying is magical.

Bright, hot and sunny in Hastings, we will be driving up to Norwich in a couple of hours

It'll take more than a couple of hours, Spacie. As for me, it's trolley racing, today is the Morrison's Grand Prix, not forgetting a one pound coin for the trolley.
