the news via the splenetic-one is not nearly as dramatic as implied ..... however, a breach in the dyke will start with just a few drips

Cynic-what a splendid adjective! It's such a pity the use of such words are fast disappearing--also peevish--I love our language. News on the other side of a South Korean co with 6 billion plus to spend is shopping in Kurdistan for oil---hope it's GKP!!

I cannot recall Sterling Energy having any stake in Gulf K.....in the Gulf of mexico : some assets (now sold) yes, but not in GKP.

Bought back in.....smaller numbers.....if there is a strike : it will be impossible to get in at a reasonable price...120p in a moment...if not perhaps not much decrease...

from a chartist point of view only this looks very much like a top building.( lower highs) breakout to downside not yet confirmed. may not. tactically its a hold at present but not yet a buy, in my opinion. buying here is very dangerous, dont mean it wont be succesful. not yet a sell, but very close to it. all just my opinion and please dyor.

Charting is good up to a certain point, in the event of another big strike this could rocket again and that would completely change the look of the graph.
