NIGHTHAWK 6 BAGGER ON DEBUT. (HAWK)

oilyrag - 12 Mar 2007 07:10

Pre IPO price 4p
Opening price on debut 25p
Floatation price 46p to raise 14million to extend Jolly Ranch
Current fair value estimate 114p
Market cap 70.59 million.
Value of Cisco Springs investments 98 million.
Value of Vogel investments 75 million.
Desparado trucking now Nightfox 250,000 for a 50% stake with partner Running Foxes.
Centurion Project Kansas, 150,000 for a 50% stake.
Jolly Ranch Colorado, 40,000 acres cost 356,000 for a 50% stake.
Cash in bank 7.75 million.

As this EPIC opens on AIM today anything could happen. On the one hand you have traders trying to cash in a sixfold profit. You will also have a clambering of traders after shares because, firstly they could only get 75% of their allocation because of demand. Secondly at 25p this company is still way under valued.

speaks for itself - & agree with you marni

halifax - 07 Oct 2009 16:22 - 1109 of 1373

Look at the intangible figure in their balance sheet and then you might realise how much their farm land is really worth. Unless of course they manage to produce a few buckets of oil!

marni - 07 Oct 2009 16:33 - 1110 of 1373

have u not been sacked from halifax yet........how many tens of billions is that silly yorkshire building society losing

cynic - 07 Oct 2009 16:37 - 1111 of 1373

so are many shares ..... as i have previously posted, i hold these, but with no great enthusiasm or even expectation in the foreseeable .... would be delighted to be significantly wrong

halifax - 07 Oct 2009 16:42 - 1112 of 1373

HAWK's latest accounts show a net asset value of 49m of which 38m are intangibles what can justify a market cap of 90m with a turnover of 300k ,investors beware.

market trend - 07 Oct 2009 22:26 - 1113 of 1373

Buying in tomorrow.
At least they have a load of cash (over 20m) to develop these $bn assets which in these times is a plus.

gibby - 08 Oct 2009 07:49 - 1114 of 1373

i will continue to hold and buy at right price - this is worth a read from independent today: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/sharewatch/investment-column-nighthawk-will-emerge-from-the-pack-1799252.html

cynic - 08 Oct 2009 07:53 - 1115 of 1373

read it earlier and confess surprise at its bullishness and especially that some broker has put out a valuation of 225 (but without a time limit!)

marni - 08 Oct 2009 10:02 - 1116 of 1373

i've read other reports with higher sp.........who cares about time limit.....suppose its 11am or 3.30pm with you cynic with us other mortals looking at about 12 months ahead but i bet i know who is winning, lol

marni - 08 Oct 2009 10:18 - 1117 of 1373

marni - 08 Oct 2009 14:48 - 1121 of 1373

more than 20% up since news

cynic - 08 Oct 2009 15:59 - 1122 of 1373

+7.38% as i write ..... i shall be pleased to live long enough to see 225!

marni - 08 Oct 2009 16:03 - 1123 of 1373

i reckon a year or so cynic is all u need......no more than 2 years

cynic - 08 Oct 2009 16:05 - 1124 of 1373

i'll keep putting the money in the meter for my iron lung then!

required field - 08 Oct 2009 16:42 - 1125 of 1373

Oil up nearly $2 as we speak...last time I looked and that was early afternoon it was down by a little..this changes very rapidly nowadays...pop out to get something and by the time you come back it's all changed....are we on the brink of a breakout for crude ?....there is resistance around $71 dollars...(WTI that is ).

gnashlevel2 - 08 Oct 2009 16:48 - 1126 of 1373

Nice. At this rate, I may buy Halifax.
