OK so you thought the title of the other thread was out of date BUT unfortunately there is no way to edit thread titles.

So here is a new title

This one has got the charts at the top again & has a link to the old one.

Oxford, UK - 20 February 2008: Oxford BioMedica (LSE: OXB), a leading gene
therapy company, announced today that the independent Data Safety Monitoring
Board (DSMB) for the Phase III TRIST study of TroVax in renal cancer has
completed its third planned interim analysis and recommended that the study
continue without modification. TroVax is Oxford BioMedica's novel cancer
immunotherapy product, which is being developed in collaboration with
sanofi-aventis. The continuation of the trial following this interim analysis
triggers a milestone payment to Oxford BioMedica of 10 million.

Onwards and upwards then.

Toya - 20 Feb 2008 09:35 - 1112 of 1451

Should be Driver. It looks as though all is progressing well with the TorVax trials so sp should go up even if no bid materialises in the short term - in which case OXB will be worth all the more in the longer term.

hahn - 20 Feb 2008 19:30 - 1113 of 1451

OXB is stock with great profit potential. I am buying more to add to my subtantial holdings. Looks like a stock with a big future. I believe that OXB Will be a fast mover upwards once more good news appears. Good luck to all.

I like this share a lot!!!!!!!!!

hangon - 21 Feb 2008 11:51 - 1115 of 1451

down almost 7% mid-day today, so I guess this may be the start of fall-back.
It is "a share with great potential",- but I don't think that is "now" since the Trials are not concluded.
It's true the mid-term report is encouraging; but the sp would be woeful if there was anything else! This Trial must go to conclusion - - - and only then will we know "what".
Having a big-holding in a stock doesn't improve the chances of the outcome, but the signs are there IMHO - this is a good ciompany and it would be a pity if it was taken out - esp. by the French!
I shall not be surprised if the sp drifts down yet again, at least until the latter part of the year - then investors/media will find some excuse to ramp [OXB], prior to results, etc....I hold.

driver - 21 Feb 2008 12:40 - 1116 of 1451

Could be some are going over to ASM these two shares do seem to go in parallel I hold both.

cynic - 28 Feb 2008 11:50 - 1117 of 1451

done nicely out of these but have decided to bank my profit partly cos i'm a trader at heart, partly cos i think share may have run out of steam for a bit and partly cos i think the markets may retreat in the next few days

cynic - 03 Mar 2008 11:07 - 1118 of 1451

this is reaching an interesting buying level too (as well as perhaps ALZ)

robstuff - 05 Mar 2008 12:56 - 1120 of 1451

Just read an interesting article in Shares Magazine heading Biotech Blockbusters and just three companies are tipped, one being OXB.

robstuff

cynic - 05 Mar 2008 14:39 - 1122 of 1451

cynic - 05 Mar 2008 14:52 - 1124 of 1451

i thought you were joking ...... i wouldn't touch SEO with yours, never mind mine! ..... i see no real reason for the rise other than lemmings following sheep

driver - 05 Mar 2008 15:24 - 1125 of 1451

cynic
If it gets to 4p+ you will have missed out big time again. Your cynicism always gets the better of you.
