Daily Express

killer question at the end "does the technology work" yes it does is AB's answer. Be great to see just how commercially effective it is in Q1 2016.

Good find Mentor,

Just in case you thought you were talking to yourself!

Something must be wrong here as I bought more on Wed and they have been going up since, not like my timing at all.

mentor - 07 Dec 2015 09:09 - 1130 of 1468

Thanks "greekman"

Why do you think I was so happy last Friday, I have now 3 lots, with my top up on the 2nd and that was Wed also, was giving the sign of turning with the high volume, but then we had to wait for Friday.

Another good day today from the start, everything is level on the order book after the starting GAP up

Weekend Shares Magazine.......

'Fuel cell technologies have significant disruptive potential [for the energy sector at present] as evidenced by the steady progress being made by companies such as AFC Energy (AFC:AIM). The group's technology has the potential to displace mainstream gas-fired power stations for utility scale generation; being cleaner, more efficient, modular and therefore more versatile, and ultimately lower-cost.
The fundamentals of AFC's technology also lend it to low-cost design and manufacture. BUY AT 26.75p'

So what happens next, I am sure without news the sp will start to fall back due to those too nervous to hang on till later in the month.

To those who are more likely to sell as the month progresses, I say this, 'Put yourself in the boards position, would you put out a RNS re milestone 11 asap in order to steady the share price or would you wait till the last possible moment so that you could release the latest power output figures'.

Don't be surprised if the news re milestone 11 comes out am on the 24th or even during the few days between Xmas and the new year.

Let just hope that Adam Bond plays Santa this year, even if he delivers a few days late.

POWER-UP Update - Commencement of KORE Pre-Commissioning in Germany

AFC Energy plc (AIM: AFC), the industrial fuel cell power company, is pleased to announce that the KORE system build at the Stade facility in Germany has now been completed, with all 24 fuel cell cartridges installed.

The Company is scheduled to commence pre-commissioning of the entire system, in manual operation mode, in the week commencing 14th December.

Finalisation of the remaining pre-commissioning activity is expected to take approximately six (6) weeks, in order to optimise the KORE plant, and to set up the entire system for fully automated operation. Accordingly, the results of full commissioning are expected to be announced prior to the end of January 2016.

Mr Adam Bond, AFC's Chief Executive Officer, commented:"Following the achievement of Milestone 10 in October 2015, we have continued to make solid progress towards Milestone 11. However, we still need to complete all pre-commissioning activities before we are able to undertake automated commissioning, and test the KORE system at the targeted 240kW design output. We will provide a further update announcement to the market with the results of commissioning, prior to the end of January, 2016."

VICTIM - 21 Dec 2015 10:36 - 1144 of 1468

That's a lot clearer , or is it .

kimoldfield - 21 Dec 2015 11:45 - 1145 of 1468

Qué? as Manuel would say!

HARRYCAT - 21 Dec 2015 14:25 - 1146 of 1468

The way I read it is that we, the general public, who held shares on the 14th Dec 2015, will be offered more at a price of 20p each at a date to be announced. Only shares which are purchased will be admitted to AIM. If not enough people subscribe to the new issue then...........presumably the issue will be withdrawn.
I think this is unlike a Rights Issue where a specific number of shares are issued and sold (to various investors). If holders don't take up their rights, the shares are still sold on the open market.
