Lambykins's Dutch Coffee House - ADULTS ONLY (LAMB)

Spaceman - 28 Jan 2005 23:56

CLOSED - THANKS to all customers for the last few years

Socrates - 15 Jan 2007 08:02 - 12409 of 24230

No e-mail jj, that's sad. I presume you mean no service rather than no messages. I'll have tea and some cornflakes, separately please.

stockbunny - 15 Jan 2007 08:39 - 12410 of 24230

Morning - tea's on, danish warning and frying pan ready for Socs if he comes in to FEB.

jj50 - 15 Jan 2007 08:40 - 12411 of 24230

... so what's wrong with the danish then? LOL

Socs has already had his cornflakes, bunny ;-)

How are you this morning?

KEAYDIAN - 15 Jan 2007 08:49 - 12412 of 24230

Just a mug of tea for me please.

Morning all.

KEAYDIAN - 15 Jan 2007 08:50 - 12413 of 24230

.....Sausage sandwich please if there's a spare banger going from the FEB breakfasts.

Socrates - 15 Jan 2007 08:58 - 12414 of 24230

Up with the lark I was, brain not tuned to more relaxed vibes yet.

'Bunny, your Danish WARNING received, I'll watch out for any marauding Danish and fight them off.

Spaceman - 15 Jan 2007 09:27 - 12415 of 24230

Morning all, nice and sunny here in Sevenoaks but a bit cold. It wont last ;-(

I think I will have a coffee and a warm danish.

Socrates - 15 Jan 2007 10:01 - 12416 of 24230

Is it too early for elevenses, hard work this retirement business.

stockbunny - 15 Jan 2007 10:35 - 12417 of 24230

Oh gawd!
Danish warming it should have said, bit 'mucking fuddle-ish' this morning here LOL
I'm fine thanks JJ - washing machine whirling as usual ;>)
market looks very much on the quiet side today....

Socrates - 15 Jan 2007 10:52 - 12418 of 24230

Thanks for the clarification re. Danish 'Bunny, I've stood the coast watchers down for the day.

Just had my roof fixed, a few tiles disturbed by the high winds we've had lately. Bargain price, I'll call that man again if I have more problems.

stockbunny - 15 Jan 2007 11:03 - 12419 of 24230

Er yes forecast is for more bad windy weather to come later in the week apparently....

Socrates - 15 Jan 2007 11:47 - 12420 of 24230

Quite so Bunny, it looks like I shall have to glue my hat on.

jj50 - 15 Jan 2007 11:51 - 12421 of 24230

It is bad and windy here right now!

Just in for a quick cuppa...

I had a bargain price roof repairer.... he would fix three slates and loosen
four so that I would call him out again the following week :-)

stockbunny - 15 Jan 2007 12:08 - 12422 of 24230

Ah we've had a few of those LOL
Well just go careful in the wind people and if in doubt, tie an anchor round your ankle, it slows you down but keeps you from becoming airborne at least ;>)

jj50 - 15 Jan 2007 12:47 - 12423 of 24230

I'll try the anchor then .... the crutches just take off....

Time for a sandwich, what's on offer today?

stockbunny - 15 Jan 2007 13:01 - 12424 of 24230

Chicken and prawn salad?
Or any variation based on the above LOL

KEAYDIAN - 15 Jan 2007 13:23 - 12425 of 24230

Lunchtime, anything else going? Not a great salad lover.

stockbunny - 15 Jan 2007 13:29 - 12426 of 24230

Chicken and prawn sarnie K?

jj50 - 15 Jan 2007 13:33 - 12427 of 24230

Sounds good, prawn salad sandwich please. Could we
have some warming soup and crusty bread in tomorrow? Suits
the weather better :-)

Socrates - 15 Jan 2007 13:36 - 12428 of 24230

I'll have a prawn cocktail, but go easy on the gin.
