Lambykins's Dutch Coffee House - ADULTS ONLY (LAMB)

Spaceman - 28 Jan 2005 23:56

CLOSED - THANKS to all customers for the last few years

Socrates - 16 Jan 2007 08:58 - 12447 of 24230

Yes Bunny, fortnightly collection but they don't take everything. Plastic bottles are a no no so we take any we ahve to the skips.

My portfolio is looking a bit red today, what's made it blush like that?

Spaceman - 16 Jan 2007 09:00 - 12448 of 24230

Morning all, dark and wet here in Hastings, I have an expidition to Sevenoaks planned for early evening.

Large Latte and a warm danish please.

Socrates - 16 Jan 2007 09:03 - 12449 of 24230

Now its raining here too. Never mind, I refuse to enter the slough of despond.

stockbunny - 16 Jan 2007 09:21 - 12450 of 24230

It's a real hotch-potch on the recycling isn't it? We can leave out plastic bottles but until only recently ours wouldn't take glass! What I want is for them to take the plastic packaging stuff, the plastic trays etc that seem to be in almost every food stuff and whilst I'm on my soapbox about this - why don't they take aluminium foil and foil trays etc? That really annoys me!

(err thank you...steps off soapbox)

jj50 - 16 Jan 2007 09:25 - 12451 of 24230

Busy in here :-)

Lovely and sunny here now but we were due it after days of
hurricane type winds!

Have just put my bottles and papers outside the door - fortnightly
collection here (no foil though!) LOL

Cappucino, please .. with plenty of sprinkled chocolate and one of
those Italian thingies to dip in it ;-)

Socrates - 16 Jan 2007 09:49 - 12452 of 24230

Can you recycle your soapbox Bunny?

optomistic - 16 Jan 2007 09:57 - 12453 of 24230

Don't be awful Socco, that's Bunny's own personal and cherished soap box!

stockbunny - 16 Jan 2007 10:41 - 12454 of 24230

Hands off my soapbox!
;>)

Socrates - 16 Jan 2007 10:57 - 12455 of 24230

Perish the thought that I should touch your box Bunny.

I was looking at soap this morning and considering buying some over the net. It was the soap that was provided to all first class passengers on the Titanic, believe it or not it is still manufactured. At 19 for 6 bars it is a bit costly when you don't know whether it is nice or not.

[:~)

stockbunny - 16 Jan 2007 10:59 - 12456 of 24230

Wont it have all dissolved by now Socs?

jeffmack - 16 Jan 2007 11:04 - 12457 of 24230

Now you an OAP you should be economising. I could collect the free soaps, shampoo's etc from my hotel trips and send them to you. One condition, you have to go shopping with the shower cap on.

stockbunny - 16 Jan 2007 11:49 - 12458 of 24230

Good mornign our resident little ray of sunshine!

Spaceman - 16 Jan 2007 11:53 - 12459 of 24230

Mrs S is in charge of recycling so I dont know the details but we have different things that can be recycled in Hastings compared with Sevenoaks, all I know is that sometimes the car is half full of stuff that can be recycled in one place but not the other, or vice versa.

Socrates - 16 Jan 2007 11:59 - 12460 of 24230

Jeffers, I'm still using up the freebies from my last holiday. No shower cap though, I draw the line at that.

stockbunny - 16 Jan 2007 12:11 - 12461 of 24230

Chicken, leek and mushroom soup with home made bread for lunch
followed by (by popular demand) sticky toffee pud with custard.

Fundamentalist - 16 Jan 2007 12:28 - 12462 of 24230

Morning all

(its still morning according to my body after another late night with the cricket)

Bunny
make us a bacon sarnie and a strong black coffee, just got your email, will send you a reply later when the brains fully awake!!!

jj50 - 16 Jan 2007 12:57 - 12463 of 24230

Afternoon all, Morning Fundie!

Great - soup please with bread, then sticky toffee pud ..
any chance of cream with that?

jeffmack - 16 Jan 2007 13:02 - 12464 of 24230

Can I have the soup without the mushrooms please

Socrates - 16 Jan 2007 13:20 - 12465 of 24230

Hello, people talking about food reminds me it is lunchtime. Baked beans on fried bread will do nicely for me. Sun is shining too, what more can a chap want.

optomistic - 16 Jan 2007 13:21 - 12466 of 24230

More beans :-)
